havent made any trades as of yet. Setting myself for the finals.

Will need to replace mclean ( thought id wait for a gun centre to drop eg. bruce, hayes, power, goodwin)

Browne from the dockers looks like he will be out for abit.

The polak experiment has been a bit up and down - was always going to trade him though.

Will hold on to sinclair, but i need him to start performing.

Holding onto lappin as well, got depth in the centre so have been ok so far. But with browne going down need to look for a trade.

forwards need the most work - ottens, lovett, monfries hoping to upgrade to reiwoldt, j. brown and one other.

1728 this week, with polak 23, browne 2!! and captain kerr getting 91. Obviously disapointed, currently ranked 300 so hoping i wont drop off too much.

trueblue_91... we hardly hear anything from you in this competition until now.

You get one allright score and your an expert, next week you will score 1600 and we won't hear a word again.

Keep a lid on it buddy.

I post all the time mate you just don't notice. i live on this board. Done very well the first to weeks 1850+ both times and i finished 455th last year. I say my oppinion and try and help other people out. If you don't like it you don't have to be here:rolleyes:

Finished up with 1802 this week. Reasonably happy with that score, but would've liked more (obviously).

Happy with:

Fevola - 144
Judd (C) - 202
Birchall - 97
Kosi - 70
Hodge - 92
Buddy - 83

Not happy with:

Sinclair - 77
Dal Santo - 79
Sandilands - 69
Bock - 64
BJ - 84
Monfries - 61
Darcy - 31

Filthy with:

Gilbee - 55
Raines - 39
Pavlich - 68

Only had two players crack the ton (Fev and Judd). My two trades worked pretty well - Sherman for Kerr was perfect. Hall for B Johnson wasnt this week, but should be over the course of the season.

Raines is definately on the chopping block this week and Monfries might be up there too.

1825 this week, Gilbee, Hudson and 2 from Browne were dissapointing. I can't complain.

How did you go this week theone5?

I scored 1759 mate.
I just can not catch a break.
Ball and Lappin should both be back next week which will give my team a big boost.
The team has a lot of potential and i have only used one trade so i am pretty happy in the position i am in at the moment.
Thanks to FanFooty (Monty), my teams performance for this week is listed below:

Chad Cornes 115 Adam McPhee 94 Darren Milburn 89 Jed Adcock 79 Beau Waters 74 Joel Bowden 67 Nathan Bock 64 Cameron Bruce (c) 176 Paul Hasleby 112 Luke Hodge 92 Nathan Foley 91 Joel Selwood 58 Andrew Browne 2 Aaron Sandilands 69 Ben Hudson 51 Matthew Lloyd 104 Lance Franklin 83 Brett Burton 72 Justin Koschitzke 70 Alwyn Davey 70 Matthew Pavlich 68 Jonathan Brown 59

I have a feeling it was a tad higher than that. Anybody else have any idea what the salary cap started at?
Just checked and it was as quoted, $6.94 mil.

got 1994 very happy. Also had Bartel captain.

Haselby is sort of a cashcow for me. Over the next few weeks he will go up to around 350,000. Then i will trade him for goodwin. Something along those lines

That is what i plan to do with Haze too, except at this rate, it might not be worth trading him.

Stoopid to play Hall?
113, whos stoopid now? :)

How weak of you to bring up that statement now.
Why didn't you argue that point as soon as i said it?
Maybe because you also agreed that it would be stupid for Hall to play at that stage of the week?
I do not give a shit about his score, his injury looked very bad and he could have been loaded with the pain killers today so i stand by my call which is that Hall should not have played that match.

Just admit you're wrong
I admit i was wrong

i have ellis starting in my team but must trade him
already have adcock and kosi so anyone got any ideas on who should go for him
i have 140k but will want to use about 50k possibly on upgrading mids/forwards this week

There is talk on the Roos board that Jesse W Smith could be in the ones fairly shortly. Apart from him not sure who else could be available.

so i stand by my call which is that Hall should not have played that match.

what medical qualifications do you hold to make that "call" ??

if the injury was as bad as it 1st looked I doubt that any qualified club medic would risk loading Hall with pain killers to get thru next game and risk suffering a far more serious injury in the process at this point in the season.

It's obvious that Hall was cleared by medical staff and they are in a far better position to make that "call" than you are.
