what medical qualifications do you hold to make that "call" ??
if the injury was as bad as it 1st looked I doubt that any qualified club medic would risk loading Hall with pain killers to get thru next game and risk suffering a far more serious injury in the process at this point in the season.
It's obvious that Hall was cleared by medical staff and they are in a far better position to make that "call" than you are.
Most likely.
But why risk making the injury worse?
The older and most valuable players down at the club should be very cautious with their rehab and they should not take any slight injuries into the game.
I mean, Lappin probably could have played this week, but why risk it?
Hird could probably play against St.Kilda AND Collingwood, but with only four days rest, why risk it?
Either his injury was talked up by the media who made it look worse than it really was, or he was a little stupid to play that game.
