I think my head is about to explode. I've got no idea what to do with my team this week. I know Pattison has to go, could just bench him and play Al.Davey. Buts $170,000 sitting on the bench and with Simmonds back i can't see Pattison being a cash cow. Can't upgrade Pattison, i've got $100K in the bank. Nobody cept Brennan & D.Thomas stick out under 270,000, and i don't trust them.

what if i trade darcy for money and get ride of monfries for j.brown or upgrade kosi to chad cornes??

My team is playing well below its potential but i still feel as though i am in a pretty good position.
I have only used one trade but i think i might make another one this week.
As always, i keep my trade ideas to myself but like last week, this trade i am thinking about doing is a no-brainer.
My trade last week was Bell for Bock.
Now, i will eventually be upgrading Bock and i picked him up purely for a price increase whereby i could basically do a straight swap with him for a gun.
Bell scored 82 this week but still went down in price and if i wanted to upgrade Bell to a gun it was going to cost me two trades anyway.
One to downgrade a cash cow and one to upgrade Bell.
Therefore, i have not wasted any trades in the process but i have saved one of my cash-cows which will be used further down the track.
Are you with me?

I would think Kosi still has some value left in him, as a keeper or for some cash later on.
All are a pretty likely IMO

If there was a good chance Jones would start scoring well again I'd rather keep him, but if they both average the same I'd be better off trading Jones now as he'll lose more money, faster.

Just Wondering will Simon Taylor from Hawthorn play all/most games this year?
Thinking of downgrading Darcy to Taylor, then using Aker plus money from said trade and my current bank to get Brown next week? If I don't do this, I can't afford Brown unless he has another Barry Crocker?
On that note, with Brown needing 144 to break even,how much will he go dwon if he scores 100

Is Heath Shaw worth the cash? Im definately trading Raines out and can afford any of the backs. This is my current backline:

I have the same backline as you, with one exception, and I have been thinking, among other thoughts this week, about trading down Sinclair for someone on the rise like bock to free up some cash for upgrades in future weeks. Would love to ditch that dud Raines though, not too sure on who would be a good replacement around his price now that it has dropped.
Raines has already gone down 23k mate, think about it carefully would be my advice... He's got scoring potential for sure, he average 65 last year and he's only going to get better, I'm frustrated with him too but will be keeping him til at the very least he returns to original value. If you want to get on board one of the above mentioned players I would consider Sinclair or Birchall.

I already have Bock in my forward line, so I cant get him. Im confident that Sinclair will turn it around - hes one of my long-termers. Raines has to go for me this week though. He has only scored 70 points combined over two rounds. Thats atrocious.

h.shaw will be really good.. gets a lot of cheap kicks/marks.. carozzo is looking the goods for me though

True. I know hes got scoring potential, but im really hoping that he doesnt lose too much more value, and desperately want him to perform so I dont have to trade him out. I see it as a waste of a trade, but given his current form, it only looks like he is going one way

lol.I wanted to trade him last week but couldnt cos of the 2 trades per week rule and now that he's crashed down in price I'll be hanging onto him

The main reason I picked him up was because he's entering his 4th year (sorta really his 2nd or 3rd realistically tho) and 250k for a player who should comfortably average more than his 65 last year is not too bad. Bock or Brennan would have been way better though, d'oh! Yeah, I know thats your current backs lineup, I meant that perhaps you would consider trading away one of those two player instead of Raines for the already mentioned reasons. PS 70 pts over 2 weeks is truly shocking No, I meant that I'm thinking the same thing.
He might not set the world alight but i reckon you've gotta stick with him now, it was last week or never (well at least for a while) IMO.
Be prepared that he will continue to go down

Your team looks pretty good to me mate, I want Sandi real bad. Just waiting for the right mix between Darcy going up and Sandi being not too expensive (I think he will only go up so it is a race lol)

Yep, fingers crossed he will come good. I know you're offline but when you get back you might be interested to know that Raines came off injured i think and so this might have affected his score this week. Then if you take away the sydney game (sydney suck to play for DT lol) he's not doing as badly as first thought. Just trying to be positive

yeah theres a few question marks in there tho in bowden, franklin and black but yeah im happy otherwise.....and go the crows lol
