My two trades (and final trades) this week were:
In: Head, Richo
Out: SDT, Chappy.
I did this so I would have Head as backup in defence with Selwood. I decided to do that instead of trading one of Browne or Armfield to Dalziell as backup in the mids. Needless to say, I'm a tad annoyed with that decision now... Browne may get suspended/dropped and Army may get dropped! Just gotta prey Ablett is back next week. I sure as hell would've loved Dalziell's ton rather than Armfields 33.
Don't get me started on how I felt about Richo going down in the 2nd quarter!!!! He was on fire until the injury, and then they played him closer to the goal square = less DT points!
Jimmy as captain makes up for it though

And I hope Milburn gets done for at least one (hopefully more) game. I dont have him, quite a few of the top teams do though.
My season pretty much hinges on Simmonds being fit. If he is fine I can trade Chapman to Richo and make a grab for overall, trying to ride my luck with injuries. If Simmo is out, ill need to trade him instead, and I have no spare cash...

Armfield over Urquart a while ago pretty much put me out of contention for the car.
Nothing in the Milburn incident, he'll be fine. I wouldn't mind too much if he misses a week though.

I had to change my whole trading plan around this. Urquart would have given me consistent 70s in the weeks where I copped a 0 (2 of them). Thats 140 points, bringing me back to 100 points off the leader.
Last week I had to bring in Josh Head for cover. Wouldnt have done that if I didnt need to (again I think Urquart had a decent score last week), and I would have another trade up my sleeve.
I think you've pretty well hit the nail on the head for the whole season. Strength in the backs was the make or break for most of us. I've floated out to 170ish now and most of this is due to luck/poor decisions made with trying to cover the backline debacle. Those who were highly ranked and managed it well are probably the ones leading the comp now.

What is Riewoldt doing? I bet Lyon is being an idiot again and leaving him in the goal square.
