Bomber fans' thoughts on the following line up (from the afl website's little crystal ball write up):

BEST 25
B: Henry Slattery, Mal Michael, Paddy Ryder
HB: Jay Nash, Dustin Fletcher, Courtenay Dempsey
C: Jason Winderlich, Brent Stanton, Ricky Dyson
HF: Adam McPhee, Scott Lucas, Andrew Welsh
F: Alwyn Davey, Matthew Lloyd, Andrew Lovett
FOLL: David Hille, Jobe Watson, Mark McVeigh
I/C: Jason Laycock, Angus Monfries, Damien Peverill, Jason Johnson
EMG: Scott Gumbleton, Nathan Lovett-Murray, Bachar Houli

Highlighted are the ones I found interesting/dubious.

Yep :thumbsu:
There's only 3 players that you don't even look at price, lockem in with no 2nd thoughts.

Price is still an issue. Otherwise every team would have Bartell and KCornes. I wouldn't take Pav if he was 500K but at his current price with his consistency and durability he will be in most teams.

Which 3 should I choose out of the following:
- Fevola (consistency an issue, has he fully recovered from that surgery he had last year?)
- Didak (could play more midfield, can kick a goal or 2 but may get tagged)
- Hall (If fully recovered, should be worth it IMO)
- Akermanis (see didak)

or anybody else worth considering around their respective prices?

Cheers

Saw this yesterday. The other interesting one missing was Jetta.

this is what the forums name says AFL Dream Team Talk about the team of dream - join a league!its about dream team in general, i can say what i want as long as it is about dt

No you cant say what you want as long as it is about Dream Team.
For example, the full moon which is predicted in 6 weeks will have an adverse affect on Riewoldt's ability to lead whilst playing under the roof at telstra dome-therefore i am not going to pick him.

Anyway, anyone see any problem with having Cox/Simmonds starting and then having wood/kruezer on the pine? is it spending too much in the ruck division?

I have a massive choice to make. Dont know who to pick between Waite and Mundy, does anyone else have one of these? Or should i get both? i personally dont think there will be much difference between these 2 unless Waite plays a different role

IMO too much on the bench. It would be very rare you would need both so possibly downgrade 1 and use the surplus funds on the park.

What are people's thoughts on leaving money in the bank for future upgrades? I know it has been touched on a lot, but I currently am leaving 28k left over solely for use in about 6-7 rounds time. The other alternative would be to use it now on upgrading Lucas to Steve Johnson. Strategically, is one option better than the other?

I think Fisher and O'Hailpin will both be missing at the start of the season, which could see Waite playing more defensively, and I think Mundy would be a very good replacement for him in your side.

i cant believe no-1 has said this guy. Hes been mentioned alot but in the wrong position. He may not play round 1, (80 percent chance he would) but he is a bargain.

Under 250k........ hahaha

I wouldn't really pick either but Mundy is the better choice. Waite will be playing at CHB this year and won't get a free role to grab touches. Also the high scores he got last year was when he was playing up forward, don't see him going down there to much this year.
