That's one decision made for me.

Do you go with two ageing injury prone players (Burton and Simmonds) or with youth/potential (Cloke and Wood)? Age old question I guess.

Cloke & Wood for mine but it depends on your emergencies and the number of other 'risks' you have in your team.

"Knights said strong pre-season campaigns from young players such as Sam Lonergan, Bachar Houli, Jay Nash and Courtenay Dempsey would also pose welcome selection dilemmas. Overall, the Bombers would have a new look in 2008.
“We’re going to have seven or eight players in the team who didn’t consistently play last year, be that through injury or form or selection, so we will look a bit different," Knights said."

Well I've had it, after spending countless hours tweaking and re-tweaking my side I can't do it any more and quite frankly if the team is no good now spending the last 24 hours before lockout stressing over 5-10 points is not going to make a huge difference anyway, yes I know 5-10 points over 22 weeks means 110-220 in overall score, but like I said if the team isn't right now then whats the point with keeping on trying to fix it up. It will score what it scores and if thats good enough to win then its good enough to win. (Will not make much difference anyway as I'm not allowed to win prizes anyway). So I think I'll sit back, offer any opinions that are asked for and watch as everyone else tries to squeeze every last point and value for money out of their teams. :)

what??? But know is the single most important time to tweek!!!

Between know and tomorrow, you'll know all you're ever going to know!

Don't waste what you learn. :p

Im taking a huge punt starting Hall and Tredrea. If they avg 80+ I'll look smart indeed. :D

Anyone else also doing this? Im guesseing im the only one.

I understand where he is coming from, the last couple of lineup changes will basically be my bench. That is unless one of my main starters is not playing.

you're right! he will now everything he will know... thanks for the pick-up! :D

:p

Lol Im lost.

Anyway, does anyone know the deal with pre-booking tickets for a match at the G?

Im looking to get tickets for tomorrow's match now, but the price for a Concession Ticket in the Southern Stand is going at $26.50. What's the deal there?

Hey guys, how do you think Guerra will preform this year? i havnt really followed his form, is he a good choice or am i better off spending an extra $10 for a birchall or gilbee?

Nah hes not really. Hell play off the hbf the whole year.

I just got rid of Palmer for Masten... Am I crazy?

Woosha on 3AW, did say that Masten was a very good chance to play round 1, as for the other West coast rookies well he didnt really give much of an answer for the likes of J-Mac and Selwood so its wait and see for me.

I can see how it could be read that way. The selection dilemmas stood out in my mind. They have a lot of youth coming through. I'll stick with him though.

Houli will play Round 1 for sure, so will Nash and most likely Dempsey. Lonergan won't imo but i wouldn't be surprised if he was picked.

anyone else see this...
Emerging ruckman, teenager Trent West, will make his senior debut after two years on the Cats list. Midfielder Ryan Gamble will line up for his second AFL appearance after playing one senior game at the end of the 2006 season
ottens is injured and isnt going to adeliade

interesting that there is no mention of Harry Taylor.
any inside info on him? i was under the impression from all the discussion here that he'll be playing for as long as egan is out.

The only thing that would make me change is if half my side was not going to line up. Seeing as that is highly unlikely I think I'll just go with the team that I have. Like I said if the team is not right by now it never will be.

I still think he will play, was given the main defensive jobs in the NAB cup and did a pretty good job, was a gun for East Freo.
well check out fanfooty
apparently thompson was quoted as saying that taylor along with prismall wont play
cant be 100% sure of how accurate that it at the moment now though
