Small thing I guess but that will annoy the s*** out of me if half the players are kicking on their opposite foot

Funnily enough, they normally use their preffered when running a straight line and under little pressure (unless it's Sam Mitchell ).

Edit: If Coniglio is a lefty then my bad...

Coniglio is a right footer but one of the more predominant opposite foot users (granted this is a slightly old article).

Two of these pictures have a white dot on the ground. Looks like one is under the ball before it's thrown up and one appears to be ahead of the ball before a mark.
The shot with the mark had me thinking it might be there to show where it's about to bounce but the one under the ump confused me. Maybe it's appeared a little early and it's the same system showing where the ball's going when in flight.

I'd say it's just in the instant replay option. There's obviously a marker you can use to select where you want the camera to follow.
