But AFLW is a different style of game. If it plays just the same, then it's not really proper is it? It's that half way approach to things is an indication then it's discouraging.

Everyone stop what you're doing and take a look at Weirdo's amazing player corrections on the create player/team thread. They are better then the youtuber's. If weirdo can keep up the effort and complete all the best 22 players. Its going to literally feel like all players have a decent degree of likeness. check it out. He's done the likes of Robinson, Fantasia, Milera, and they look fantastic. They start on page 4 with galluci from the crows. https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/thre...ayer-team-thread.1161994/page-5#post-49860652

I've mentioned this a couple of times but it'd be great if wicked witch could follow bigants lead and add some of the fan created likenesses into the default game.

Bigant did it for league live 3 and it really added to the game.

Doesn't seem to be an option of pre ordering for pick up from JB online

I dont want rely on postage, the store is 2 mins away.

Can you go in and do it ?
JB online is somewhat independent of your local store. There is no pick up option because if you buy online it is purely for delivery.

If you want to pick up you'll have no issues walking in on Friday and getting a copy, but if you're super concerned you'll miss out; pre-order at your local store and they put a copy away for you.

I'm interested to find out if people are penalised for quitting a multiplayer match, and if custom teams with super stats can be used in multiplayer ranked games. As fun as AFL Live 1 was, as soon as they allowed suped up custom teams to play online any team stats or balancing that was done instantly became redundant and meaningless.

As a side note, I don't understand how people got any enjoyment out of winning with these teams. Maybe it was about trying to reach the top of the ranks...

Excited that's for sure, I was one who didn't mind gameplay of Live 1 and I could put up with Live 2 because its an AFL game. Going to be even better with players that you can recognize and the ability to edit / download lists via fan hub. Fingers crossed that VFL/TAC lists can be drafted to AFL lists at end of seasons, would give the season mode the extra playability.

Very excited about the game, but lets get to the crust of the issue with AFL gaming..
Fifa has become great because it's had 20 years of the company to incrementally improve on the games each season. So to slowly build up a fanbase, funding and yearly updates to get it to this point...

hopefully the same thing can happen with AFL games, it's the only way to make it work in the long run...

The constant, releasing of one game and not persisting with incremental improvements just doesn't help the issue at all..

So if Evolution gets off to a good start then one would hope that the AFL persists with updating rather than the constant rebuilding from scratch...

economically speaking, it's also cheaper to update rather than to constantly go back to the drawing board.

So you might hope that if someone asks the question about oval sizes, maybe there can be points for future updates etc...

IF Evolution sells really well and provides a good base, then fingers crossed they go with the yearly updates...new versions of the game.

Are there any past players in the game as in previous games example is in previous games there was a historial section where you could play games and complete the challenges.

This may already be common knowledge, however AFL Evolution have come back to my question and confirmed the following.

Q: Will there be a way of finding out the stats during the game?
A: The stats menu will be available at the end of each quarter.
I guess that's better than nothing. Still not ideal for Be A Pro if you need to achieve certain stats for in-game goals.

Original or cheesey crust?

Agree with the rest of the post, that's why majority in here just want decent gameplay as that's the base to build from.

Are the grounds all the same dimensions? If so then why? Game needs to be realistic and have the exact dimensions for each ground.

They said it was due to budgeting and time constraints. I feel like something like that will be fixed in later editions of the game, however if they felt the budget and time was needed elsewhere then hopefully it's on something positive.

come on, tell me one thing that is more important than the width of Williamstown oval?

So what ground dimensions were used for the grounds in th game? As in what ground dimensions in real life was used for the grounds in the game?

Just told by WW that 'there will be more details about GWS trying out the game soon.' Does soon mean today? I hope so because its a public holiday tomorrow so they wouldn't be able to show it then.

I'd imagine it'll be out before the 5th
