Yeah it was AFL Live 1 or 2. Couldn't remember which.

More money than brains mostly!!

I like the best of both worlds have a lot of friends with one console and not the other. Having it on both systems allows me to play with everyone.

Granted I've not actually done this for some time (eg: last Fifa I purchased 3 times was Fifa 12, last NBA 2K was 2k13 etc). If the 'single player' experience is worth it I'll start off on one system but then end up buying it again on others (over the years I have collected the GTA games on multiple platforms, Arkham games etc etc).
 
Is it realistic to assume that by later this afternoon the PSN/XBL Stores should have the game available to pre-order online? Given we're a week out, it seems like uploading it by next Wednesday/Thursday could spurn some late sales?

We really need this game to come out, its been a long journey from our first bit of news til this point, we've analysed every bit of information including mummy's nuts now.
 
Is it just me who heard Dennis Cometti say that Shaw was one of the worst decision makers in the game haha

I hope so as he actually says "one of the most astute decision makers in the game".
 
From what I saw, it looks like AFL Live 1 and 2 with a few extra features. It's gonna be interesting checking out their AI and ball movement. I want to be able to move as quick and in any direction as I want, like in Live 1.

This game just has to be average for it to be a win in my books. If the foundation is there, then we have forever to continually update it.

Question for anyone living overseas. Obviously it's going to be almost impossible to find this game in the stores outside Aus. Does the PS Store online have all games available? Or is it region locked?
 
Looks good. Better than what I was expecting? Yeah, I think so.

As for the man on man stuff and lack of congestion and players staying in their positions, I honestly do think that changing your team tactics will have an impact on these things. I really hope so anyway.

That kick to Jeremy Cameron inside forward 50 lacked way too many players around from both teams IMO. The player who kicked it to him had gone back on his mark so it would have been nice to see players from the midfield streaming past into the 50.

Been confirmed you will be able to purchase it on the PS store from overseas.
 
Q Hi, I've noticed as I have been playing my way through the fan hub that there is no potential stat for players. How will player growth work throughout seasons? And will some players grow more than others? Thanks

Hey Paul, the chance to improve attributes comes with levelling up, and the better a player performs, the faster they will level up. If you are playing as a Coach, you will be able to choose which areas you want players to improve in. As a Pro, you will just get to choose your own improvements.

Also, looked like the wind had little effect when goal kicking, although we did only see a couple of set shots. Really hope its MUCH harder to kick goals than all previous AFL games. They were far too easy.

I'd say in that video they were playing on the easiest difficulty. I doubt it'll be that simple on the hardest difficulty (which I'm sure most of us will end up playing on).

Arent they playing against each other though? Does a difficulty setting come into it in that case? Don't you just pick the difficulty level if you're playing against the AI?

Also, those camera flashes during set shots are fairly dumb.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense in game or real life either.

In a night game, the ground is fairly well lit, makes no sense for flash to be used.
