We exclusively play bangers against them. They've won 3 of the past 4. I'd say that record to about to start turning in our favour.

I don't believe we have ever won at giants stadium (may have beaten Carlton during covid, but that doesn't count)

It was covid, I Perth and Sydney were the same to me back then

Was that actually the case though? Many years ago I knew someone who was fairly high up in the Saints, and he was bitter about the "machiavellian games that Hawthorn played" to get the MP zone back in the 1970s.

I'm not doubting what you have said, it's just that I've been walking around for 40+ years with this guy's words ringing in my ears.

SO there's two stories (at least), and I'm wondering which one is accurate!

I remember it vividly as – being a gormless teenager – I had no idea who or what "machiavellian" meant, and a trip to the library the next day opened my eyes.

Immensely disappointing result here, at least for me personally.

Geelong getting 3 extra days recovery before Easter Monday.

Only one game at Norwood, and it will overlap with the Hawks game (for reference, we stay at a mates place in Norwood).

We get Port which I didn't want, because I feel it's absolutely wasted on a novelty round. And it will probably make it harder to get a ticket.


Also, does 3 consecutive games at Adelaide Oval on that Saturday afternoon sound right?
Perhaps the Dogs vs Brisbane is a typo and could be the second Norwood fixture?

Why is the AFL gutless to schedule us to play Port as the home team. .?

We have played Port as the away team in 7 of the last 11 games against them excluding finals, with two of our homes games against them at Docklands

The AFL are cowards if they don't schedule a second game for later in the year at the MCG.

Fixture anomalies are strange. Such as our we never play Brisbane in Queensland.
These are things that should be rectified easily.
