I'm hearing no games in QLD yet again.

Both Lions and Hawks pissed at this.
I heard we are playing the Lions twice , so where if not QLD?

I mean of course we are going to play them. Just heard no games in QLD. Lions and Hawks both requested a game against each other at the Gabba but it was ignored. Guess we find out for sure tomorrow.

Where did you get this info? A team requesting an away game would be one of the stranger things I’ve heard 😂

We sell interstate memberships to supporters in a Brisbane yet never play there. Those members need to get the same value as other interstate members,

Suns in Darwin is vomit. No chance we win that.

Otherwise it's gold.

Yeah, you would think a run-and-gun offence would have dead legs by halftime in that humidity. I wouldn't be surprised if we flood back like Saint Kilda last year and just sit it out, keeping the score low with the hope that a ten or fifteen-minute burst will win the match.

Besides there is no historic connection with Carlton - even Melbourne would probably make more sense
No. Not at all.

So long as you disregard two grand finals and sharing the same ground for 15 years.

The Hawks will also get a prime time Saturday night game in Round 3 against GWS Giants in Launceston after starting the season with back-to-back Friday night matches in Opening Round against Sydney Swans (SCG) and Round 1 against Essendon (MCG) followed by another marquee Thursday night match against Carlton in Round 2.

So it's:

OR - Sydney (SCG) - Friday Night
R1 - Essendon (MCG) - Friday Night
R2 - Carlton (MCG) - Thursday Night
R3 - GWS (UTAS) - Saturday Night
R4 - ?
R5 - Port (Adelaide Oval) - Sunday Night
R6 - Geelong (MCG) - Easter Monday twilight

True. But the link is not as strong as Essendon, Geelong or even North Melbourne. We would be behind Collingwood, Essendon and Richmond in their pecking order.

That said, it’s surprising that they played their 150th (at Docklands) and 160th anniversary matches (last year) against us.

4 Friday night games in the first 15 rounds.

We are SO back!

So 7 Thursday/Friday night games in 15 games after none since the middle of 2022

Bye in Round 4. All teams who play OR will have a bye before Gather Round.

We are also playing Eagles R10 at Marvel. Which I'd assume mean we will play Fremantle in Perth as we played them in Tas last year.
