Well the seasons over, Melbourne won so it's time we stopped having a winge at our failed punts, and move onto 2022 because as we know, always chase your losses, they can't run forever.

Will be jumping on Freo to make the top 8 as soon as the market opens, until then we've just got the premiership markets to play with.

Good luck and let's try not to donate too much.

Why Freo? Mundy and Fyfe another year older, Cerra leaving.

Lobb maybe going as well? I can see them having the exact same issues they did this season.

Another pre season into Serong & Brayshaw, + Taberner in full flight again with hopefully a non-injury interrupted year.
Worth a tenna.

i mean Freo were around $3.50 ish to make the Top 8 in 2020. I reckon they will be around that price next season. Fyfe is getting to the tail end of his career and injuries may be the thing holding him up.

They need close to their full squad to be challenging week in week out. I don't think the depth is quite there compared to the Top 6 teams from 2020.

I’m pulling it guys relax.

In my opinion it’s tough to see the top 8 changing too much.

Richmond might make a charge, they’ve got a lot to offer at the draft table, it depends on where they go with that.

Carlton could be the unsurprising surprise, they’ve got the makings of a good team with elite players in the right areas. Hopefully Cripps can get himself right, it’s sad seeing him drop off the way he has.

GWS and West Coast are two question marks for me at this point.

Fremantle are still a year away in my opinion.

FWIW, I think the crows will probably finish bottom 2. I could see Collingwood, North, Gold Coast all jumping them. It won’t be a case of them going backwards in development either. It’s more so that these other teams have more room to grow. I’d say the crows overperformed most the year whilst the teams mentioned underperformed and had injuries etc

Cats odds look ridiculous.

Yes they're old but if they decide to get with the times and move the ball quickly and get it into Hawkins and a fit this year Jeremy Cameron they will be devastating. Makes no sense to go out and get Cameron then refuse to kick it to him until the defense has gotten back.

Higgins, Dahlhaus and Rohan are cooked, get them out to bring the age profile down a little bit. Stengle could be great at the feet of the bigs, Guthrie jnr looks AFL quality, Evans showed a bit before injury.

If they can find a player or two out of their 12 players under 21 who haven't played it might be the refresh that they need. Dangerfield and Duncan missing big patches last year didn't help and if they can stay healthy then they're as good a chance as any again in '22

1: Essendon at MCG
2: Sydney at SCG
3: Collingwood at MCG
4: Brisbane in Geelong
5: Hawthorn at MCG
6: North in Tas
7: Fremantle in Geelong

Should get off to a good start and then face just 4 interstate trips remaining, and one of them is GC who will be well cooked by round 22.

Should finish top 4 again, then cash out before the inevitable finals choke.

Disagree, I think Geelong will be the slider team of the season and will be lucky to finish inside the 8. I don't think they have the quality of depth that will be needed for a covid affected 2022 season.
