Nah deserved favourites now they have their act together and wins on the board. Were the clear best team last year and Pies the only team who look to have come on this season so far of the contenders

Was hoping Jeremy Cameron wouldn’t get any junktime goals but that goal in the last 2 minutes now puts him 7 in front of Charlie Cameron. Think he’s a shout @ 21. Big difference between him and Curnow in price when he is in front of Curnow by 2. Brisbane also have Freo, Essendon and Suns at home in the next 4 weeks. But if Jeremy continues in his rich vein of form it could mean nothing in the long run.

Last time a small won the Coleman though?

Hey guys, was hoping for some creative ideas on how i might be able to hedge a long term bet i have on.. if it's even possible that is.

I can't cash out cos i used a multiplier (didn't realise it would disable the cashout function) but the bet is Jeremy Cameron Brownlow@ 41 into Cats flag @ 9, and the collect is for 42.4k with their 15% multiplier. Current odds are Cameron @13 into Cats flag @6 on the tab.

I can't figure out a way for me to lock in any type of profit and more than likely will just have to let it ride but if there's a way, that wouldn't require me to tie up a ton of capital then i'd be all ears. Cheers

I don't think anything.

You can't hedge a multi that has two incomplete legs that aren't directly related to each other.

Best you can do is wait for the first one to win (Cameron), and then look at hedging via the premeirship market (back all the other teams still in the running at Betfair).

Might not lock in much profit but lay both at BF is about all you can do. There's still so many ways it loses so hedging is difficult...

Id just let it ride for now, strong chance Cameron is leading the brownlow right now and the market price doesn't reflect that so you won't be getting much value.

You can't lay them both...

If Cameron doesn't win the Brownlow and he has laid Geelong, then he will lose lots of money if they win as he gets nothing back from his multi...

Noted - thanks guys. Guess i'll just keep monitoring it and hope Jezza keeps shortening. Bit of an annoying situation cos I'm guessing i'd be in the positive by now.

anyone else feel the brownlow is already a 4 man race?? BONT/CAMERON/DAICOS/OLIVER?? I can't even picture anyone else making a run.. maybe Walsh?? Dawson and Laird will split votes, and Laird never polls well enough to threaten top 4, Brisbane is a more team performance this season not just Neale, De Goey but he'd need to string a few matches together to stay with leading pack

Betright gave me a $40 bonus bet after winning one of their footy competitions last week.

With $20 stake I put it on

multi:

Essendon to win Flag in 2023

Kings XI Punjab to Win Indian Premier League 2023

Odds: $285.00

Bombers didnt disgrace themselves last game and could make a case had they had Merrett they could have beaten the Pies.

The bet is for a bit of a giggle as I feel the Kings XI Punjab are about to fire since my other team Hyderabad are struggling. (9th in the standings at the time of writing)

hmmm I thought they were a bit lucky to be where they were due to a about three soft ticky touch free kicks in font of goal.

How many goals does it take for Amiss to start being considered for rising star?

Or is it purely a 2 horse race now?

Hogan took 44 to win it
Riewoldt did it with 21
Goodes 19
Kozschitze 2 goals (was ruck maybe?)

Those are the 4 key forwards I can see on the list

Amiss is on 19 currently, if he got to 44 would it be his or nah?

His odds look pretty good right now @41, wondering whether there is a purple tinted glasses thing going on here or whether he is hidden away at Freo and the rest of the comp hasn't caught on yet?

Good shout. Is 67 on Pb so I put a bonus bet on. He would need to kick 40 and for Freo to make finals I would think

Chances are extremely slim still. Ashcroft and Sheezel are having years that would win most rising star medals.

Hogan was also more commanding around the ground and played for a Vic team, which definitely helps
