This has at least briefly crossed my mind but the only person crazy enough to do it with us is an Eagles' supporter, if it was a derby no matter who won I just can't see the trip home ending well ;)
Yes, it will be quite dangerous when the West Coast supporter is trying to drive while looking through a waterfall of tears.

Not the Dockers if they continue to put up the shit football they have been playing. ******* pathetic.

I'm sure it's been said elsewhere, but, the pricing is extortionate. $1500+ per person for a seat at the GF? 90,000 people in the stadium is $135 million dollars in ticket sales alone.

Supply and demand at work but cmon... That's taking the piss.

There's only about 10,000 of those $1500+ packages - most of them are actually part the 18 clubs allocations, which could easily be sold much cheaper or even at face value but the clubs choose to cash in instead.
30,000 competing club members pay an average of about $300.
20K+ AFL members pay about $140.
20K+ MCC members something like $30 for a reserved seat, or free for entry to the walk up allocation
So it's not quite the cash bonanza for the AFL that most people think.

I'm going, but my biggest fear is going over to see the Egirls and us not in it. I'm having nightmares about it.
I have the same fear.My tickets were booked back in May regardless if Freo make or Not. But never allowed for the scenario of West Toast to be there and we are not.Hope not.

Did you enjoy it? Was a great game. Did you have your Swans Guernsey on?:p
yea i was a blood for a day. in the flight home these two old eagles biddys were bitching about freo. literally 48 hours after winning a flag. 48 hours after we win one ill still be cry/laughing/masturbating probably.

Same with me. I figured it might be 2 out of Port/Hawthorn/Sydney/Freo, with only a small hope that Freo would make it. But no thoughts whatsoever that WC would even get close. If it is WC vs Hawthorn ... or even worse, another WC v Sydney game ... I'm going to choke on my $500 worth of bacon at the breakfast before the game.

**** that, I'd just try and sell the ticket if it was me...

Glad I'm not the only one feeling like this. I got mine in April and thought the only thing that could spoil a GF is if I'm watching the Eagles, but I thought there was zero chance of this happening and here we are!
