Edit: Yeah what Les said
I'm only guessing but assume the patch is bug fixes etc like most patches are and what most games get. Will be surprised if there's anything significantly new in there
The DLC will be the 2014 upgrade and the new cut scenes/ celebrations etc. Expecting it to have a price attached to it so it'll be good to hear from anyone on what the xbox one costs.
I suppose any updates to game dymanics etc could be in either, I've downloaded it but never played it enough to say whats different and still looking for a 1.02 patch document/info.
You should be surprised because at first glance game play has changed considerably with only the patch(PS3), much better flow to the game, and unlike AFL 1 the game feels even less like it is on rails. I am enjoying the game tremendously. The fact that people are going from winning by 40 to losing by 40 on same difficulty level proves there has been considerable game changes. Big thanks to wicked witch.

I just played a game with the patch and I'm not impressed. It still has most of the issues the game already had and now has added the new issue of the AI never missing goals. I don't understand why people say the marking is better in this game when it all comes down to your player being in the better position first. It's almost impossible to do anything if your slightly out of position going into the contest, particularly when your player has their back to the ball.
umm, i thought thats what marking is meant to be... when you are in a better position you normally have more chance of taking the mark.. how is that a bad thing lol, we dont want to see marks taken from players who were nowhere in the contest.I just played a game with the patch and I'm not impressed. Ok maybe I spoke to soon there are some good additions with the patch but there are some things I am not happy with as well. Will try a lower difficulty, but on hard as another person pointed out the AI hardly ever misses a shot. There is no point in using the right analog set shot, because its just (SPOILER) easier to shoot with a modified x. And here is the biggest problem , if you want to go back to the old patch I think you can't because I believe it rights over 1.1 with patch 1.2, losing 1.1 forever. Anyway you can get patch 1.1 back, because if you erase the patch you erase both and then you go back to the original un patched version, witch is inferior to both new patches.
They should warn you that it will over right patch 1.01. Will try a different difficulty, but the AI making almost every shot from any distance, takes the suspense out of the game. And that is coming from someone that just praised wicked witch for the patch. Any way to get patch 1.1 back, if turns out we like that patch better?

I would imagine for two players it would be a good patch. Are most of the issues people have simply when playing against the AI? Or do they extent to multiplayer mode
You have no control to get in a good position though. You can't run from behind and sneak your way in front, you just run past it, even though your opponent is just standing still. The whole idea of running onto a mark in the game is pretty much non-existent and when you have your back to the ball your player doesn't turn around and attempt to mark/spoil, he just keeps facing the wrong way.umm, i thought thats what marking is meant to be... when you are in a better position you normally have more chance of taking the mark.. how is that a bad thing lol, we dont want to see marks taken from players who were nowhere in the contest.

Just because one player is randomly in the better position to start with doesn't mean that it should be hard for the other player to make a contest.
