Sounds good, oh and you should hit up the Carlton Mods for your larger avatar etc since you've sponsored Kreuzer.

Thought I would just be patient and wait for them to get around to it....

Maybe not you, but I belive someone can. spotify is a service available in sweden in which you stream your music legally, and since it's introduction I am not aware of anyone who download music illegally anymore. The only way of getting rid of piracy is to offer something better.

So instead of letting people illegally download their game for free, they should let them legally download it for free?

What does that do?

By streaming you don't actually have the song, you can only listen to it if connected to the internet, but i suppose there are ways to extract it-meh, its beyond confusing

Oooooooh, if you do that then you'll get the upgrade in around 10-15 years.:thumbsu:

I guess he's talking of maybe some sort of OnLive thing where by you pay a subscription and stream it like that?

I dunno, but whatever the hell he's trying to get across it makes little sense.

Something like Steam is more or less probably the actuallity of it, but even still people will take those games and chuck them up on the torrents...PC gamers should just accept the fact that they will get the game at all! Just be a little bit more patient...or buy a console, really not that hard.

I probably would buy it on pc at a later date, providing i love the first version i buy (likely to purchase the 360 version first, ahead of ps3). Only have one example with an earlier AFL title - having purchased AFL Live 2004 on ps2, when the Premiership Edition was released..... i purchased it on both ps2 and pc.

I've been a silent follower in this thread, i am keen for the game..... no huge expectations, i just hope that it's fun. As i've always said, i'd be happy for an updated Aussie Rules Footy from the NES days as that's still a blast to play.

AFL 98 & 99 were great, as were the games released in 2003, 2004. I'm not sure what happened in the development of Premiership 2005.... but i thought that was a dogs breakfast in comparison to the previous games. However they redeemed themselves with the 2006 game.

They are different from holograms but same shite really. It's a picture that changes when you move it. They do make a good cover though
.

Pre order was always likely to be a football. I'll send mine to bigant & get them to sign it after I've washed the EB games logo off of it. (after all, what did they do)

I LOVE in game content for pre order/special edition bonuses. Physical/additional stuff just sits around or gets chucked in the cupboard.
Even golden boots would be cooler :p

Yes lenticular I knew it I was close thank you it's been bugging me since I wrote it.

I Pre ordered today from my local EB store. They told me it was coming out April 1st, which I know has been said here is a generic date, but then saw the comment saying if you Pre order you would have it by April 21, so who knows maybe it will come out 1st April, would coincide with the 2nd round of the season and they could have had a full week advertising during round 1 where there is the most hype of the season until finals time.

But I do take what most EB stores say with a grain of salt

I think PC gamers should really get over it. Don't complain that you're not getting the game straight away or even at all. It's not like gaming is the only thing a PC does, so not having this game isn't the end of the world. You can still do tonnes of other things on your PC that consoles can't.

At the end of the day, PCs aren't built 100% for games (I know there are gaming PCs) and so you should accept that. Instead of whining about it, go and cough up the cash like everyone else has.

Piracy is a massive issue and I know that there are millions of honest PC gamers, but there's that select few who ruin it. But that's life, someone will always ruin it for you. For example, Australia has strict gun laws because of the Port Arthur Massacre. I would like to be able to play around with BB Guns like other countries but no, that ******** Martin Bryant had to go and kill people (no disrespect to the deceased) and now we have tight gun regulations. One guy ruined it for everyone but you have to accept that it's for the better.

Microsoft strike constantly with the banhammer to stop piracy and now Sony are trying to force Google to forfeit the IP Addresses of anyone who has watched or commented on a youtube video about PS3 Jailbreaking. Both of these companies have put time and money into combating piracy and because of them, console piracy is it a minimum. Until there is similar action to prevent PC piracy on all games, not just on every second game or gaming service, then PC is just not viable.

Hell, an Xbox is $200 nowadays. Instead of blowing a couple grand on an awesome PC so you can run the games, just buy a good PC and a console. You'll save money and won't have to worry about games not being released on the PC.

Agree for the most part. Simple fact is a lot of people wont settle for consoles because with PC gaming comes patching, bug fixing and things like that. I'm glad to say I always steered away from PC's though as they tend to mess up sooner than a console, and PS3 looks like the best platform in particular for this game, since it serves as the base model.

Xbox and PS3 also have patching and bug fixing...

Here Here Brother! Would love to see Aussie Rules Footy on the nes updated and re-released. I wonder who owns the original code? Would be perfect for phone/ipad/xbox/pc/ps. Someone is sitting on a gold mine and doesnt know it.

Sorry let me rephrase. I meant on PC you can mod things. Like I saw the other day some dude turned NBA 2K11 on PC into College Hoops 2K11. Its crazy and while it may not hurt the actual sales of the game, things like that are just no-go areas I would think.

That makes more sense :D Modding the code is illegal, depending on how each country interprets the copyright law, although if it breathes new life into games or creates more interest I wouldn't imagine the developers caring too much.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before (always a dangerous statement on this thread) and I have just jumped on during lunch (is that enough disclaimers?) but will there be a TVC?

I was thinking the same thing the other day while i was playing it on the Wii (through homebrew). It could be upgraded the same way that Tecmo Bowl was last year. Give you the option of updated 3D graphics and sound or the old 2D version. Would be great.

no wonder why this game has taken ages to be finally finished, all the employees at big ant were to busy partying insted of working.:D

Big Ant provide drinks and competitions on Friday afternoon - "BeerO'clock
