Ross said that their aim was to make the game as similar to the telecast as possible, so:

Hopefully they also have career and season milestones like if a player plays 100 games or if they pass 250 career goals in their career.
And if they also pass club legends ie if some one from stkilda was to pass Robert Harvey on the games played list for the saints.
Or if someone was too pass a league record ie: the most consecutive games in a row, to have the highest recorded possession count in a game or to kick the most goals in a season.
And most of these thing could also be used as trophies for ps3 or achievements for xbox 360.
True, but I wasn't sure if Ross had gone to the trouble of putting in Hawthorn's "U/12's lineup" for the simulation, so maybe it was indeed the two best 22's against each other.
Wow I just realised we have a fit Kerr in this game.
Just adds a new dimension to the game. I liked it. Ross said you can choose guernseys before games in this game aswell, not sure how broad the selection is.

Yep, if you guys don't beat us by a few goals then your in more trouble than I thought. I'd say the sim worked out fairly realistically if he did use proper line-ups.

I live in the UK, and have looked at both the Game website and EB games and neither of them ship outside of australia. Any ideas where I could get the game from? Keen to get it as soon as it comes out so don't really want to get it shipped to my mate in Melbourne for him to mail it to me in the uk.
Why should pc gamers get over it because pc's can do more that is just a stupid argument. People like you just annoy me without PC's consoles wouldnt be where they are today!!!! Alot of games started on PC and use to have alot more depth than console games.
Now i have a PC and a ps3 and i will be buying this on PS3 as consoles are def better for sports games especially on my 100" screen
But thats where it stops shooters and strategy games are so much better on PC's and it annoys me that PC gamers have to miss out. Yes i know about piracy and i have dled games but if i like i buy.
What about the ps1 and 2 days of chipping your console and buying thousands of games in bali or downloading them. I didnt see developers pushing them off to the side.

Mate get with the times alot of PC games come out with modding tools so that the game stays alive thro the community. Some mods have even been turned into games and modders have worked there way into the industry.
Anyway long live the PC gamer and hopefully developers still look out for the ppl that built the gaming industry!!!!

we also wouldnt be where we are today without the NES, the PS1 and the Atari 2600, but that doesnt mean we should keep making games for them

Mate, PC is getting the game a few weeks after the consoles ffs. If it was up to Ross you wouldn't be getting a game at all.
I do feel sorry for the PC players who get games legally who do miss out by a few weeks, but I feel more sorry for devs like Ross who spent a lot of money and time developing this game, only to lose a heap of money where it's illegally pirated.

PCs were never ahead IMO, certainly not with sports games anyway.

Ok, three things:
First of all don't cut out part of my post that is relevant when you quote it. I covered the whole issue of console piracy in my post and you went ahead and cut it out so it looked like you were correcting me. What do you get out of it.....
Secondly, you can't deny what I said. You just cracked it at me and your rant contained no logical argument. As much as it sucks you know that what I said is true and it's just a fact of life. People miss out people don't.
