The info in the latest article about the training feature has really got me and I'm assuming everyone else on the bf forum hoping the game would come out tomorrow.

And with all the new info that has come out about the game in the past week anticipation for the game has reached fever pitch.

Don't know if it can be answered but because it was released in the latest article can Ross or anyone who has seen or played the game give any extra info on the training feature ?

Part 12 already!
F*** ME!

I think someone said back in part 8 or 9 that they predicted this forum to go to part 15 by the time the game is released.

I personally think you kids are gonna crap all over that and get close to 20

ross you have said that due to all the closures of big australian dev studios, Big Ant has ended up with alot of experienced employees. Have they worked on any notable big games?

Re Subbing.

God I hope it's true what I saw on the legit Facebook page:

AFL Live
"The game will more than likely be released on the 7th of April"

Does not say that on their Face book page.

It's only been a guess that it's the 7th. From clues Ross has told us its in April, but before 21st April.

Totally agree.

Checking this thread for developments every hour doesn't seem to make the time go quicker I have come to notice:)

Congratulations on reaching page 12 = Only the Ricky Nixon/St Kilda/female saga comes close to matching it's brilliance :p.

Looking forward to the game's release, i might even do a retrospective and play the previous AFL games in the lead up to the new title.

You own them all? Crazy man :thumbsu:

I'd read a big retrospective on all the old AFL games. Would provide a fascinating (and depressing) history.

All I'll say for 1 part of training is 'Aussie Rules Football'. Draw conclusions from this.

Not the lot, i never purchased Kevin Sheedy's AFL Challenge (the game released prior to AFL Live 2003) or a few others. I do have Aussie Rules Footy on the NES (fell in love with the game after renting it, got it as a present not long after), AFL 98 & 99 on pc (and 99 on playstation). AFL Live 2004 & Live Premiership Edition (ps2 and pc). Also have the 2006 and 2007 games.

The 2003 - 2007 series was good to play, however the real bad egg in the bunch was Premiership 2005. That was the worst AFL game i had ever played :p.

Has Ross said if the commercial will be on normal tv foxtel or both? i never watch normal tv

I second that and add will it be shown in QLD? Because I have learned so far it is only VIC stores that are advertising it at the moment. None up here are.

Hoping to see a sneak peak of Seamus McNamara or Majak Daw in the trailer but hey ill be happy with anything Collingwood-as-Premiers related!!

I agree. I dusted off 2005 the other week and it was horrible.
2007 was a much improved game and had a lot of good features too.
