It was, season modes were played through with some teams all the way through to make sure of trophies, some others were simmed through. It just happened that the teams with issues were simmed through with the final build. Bugger that the Sim and the Play through are different in the code

the lagg is kind of anoying online

I have a crappy internet connection at the best of times and had ZERO lag last night. Must be your end.

Im really having trouble with taking marks.

I see opponents taking diving marks etc but unless my guy is right on the spot he wont take the mark. I know its all about timing but its a pain in the a** and no matter how many times i try i can never pull it off.

Also taking a mark in front in the back line. No matter how hard you try it never works, your opponent can be a metre behind you and he will still take the mark instead of you. Has this got to do with mark attributes etc.? As forwards are generally better markers then backs.

I hold down the mark button. Does that do anything different Ross? I find myself taking heaps of marks.

Lag would either be your internet connection or your opponents. The net coding has been done very well. Very little bandwidth is needed.

I would make sure you have a Open NAT, pick cable over wireless, and if you can turn interleaving off on your ASDL connection that will decrease your ping.

It definitely isn't mate.

Get the front position and tap the mark button just once. It doesn't matter when you press it, just so long as you press it before the ball arrives.

Quick hint: Don't always tackle. Let your opponent think you are going to tackle them by getting close. They will pass the ball and you now have an extra man at the contest instead of laying on the ground.

The amount of tackles really annoyed me at first, but the more games I have played there has been less contested possessions and less tackles. Hate not having online but I am enjoying offline all the same.

I hope the speed does get knocked up a bit because at the moment about the only player who can out run anyone for Hawthorn is Cyril. It would be such a small adjustment that could bring heaps of excitement with long runs down the wing, and the chance to recreate Franklin's Goal of the year.

Mundy had 9 Disposals in the first half but only finished with 13 for the match, still the major ball winner for the match, his biggest highlight came when i was down 48-41 with 2:31 on the clock, an earlier ruck contest got me noticing which way he was running as the ball was bounced, so as the ball was bounced I (Sandilands) tapped it in the that direction much to my delight, it went straight into Mundy's hands who ran another 5m kicking it to Pav on the lead and he went on to make it 48-47!!! another 30 Seconds later he was having another shot this time he missed which made it 48-48..the Freo zone did its best work but ti no avail great game though with beautiful ruck work

You may be indeed I've been trying to do one on purpose and it's not as easy as I thought mainly due to the AIs awful goal kicking I even smothered Rougheads set shot from inside the goal square

Thanks also to my zone it prevented the Hawks from scoring tough loss, kicking out can be a bitch just like it is in the AFL though

Bought it this morning ($88 at Big W), I must say, I'm hugely impressed. The rucking system is fantastic, and the game as a whole is a shitload of fun. Disappointing about the lack of 'Career Mode' but this is a fantastic base to build around, great work Ross and the lads.

Played a match against Hawthorn, was 15 points down with 5 minutes to go, and they started chipping around and winding the clock down, absolutely brilliant. Getting hammered by injuries, I'm getting hit with 6-7 injuries in the final quarter alone!

Ballantyne from what i've noticed is the fastest player in the Freo team with Hill second..Hilly also has a great boot on him in this, kicked one with him from 55 Fyfe hasn't really influenced my games yet

Sounds realistic. Besides Fyfe not dominating.
