Purchased 78 games through Steam over the last 6 months.
Purchased 5 games through buying at a retail shop in that period.

I much prefer digital downloads :thumbsu:

This is why people pirate, because of delayed releases.

Why would I buy it on PC (unless its on Steam) when it is coming out three months later?

I hope to god that they do release it on PC, or on Steam. I'm sick of playing AFL Live: PE. It was the only AFL game I could find on PC in retail shops.

Once the patches clear both MS and Sony we will have an ETA on the PC version (it will obviously have the patches included on disk day zero).

i want this game...
I am starting to consider buying a console and spending $5-600 for one game!! I don't play games aside from the periodically released + consistently shocking AFL ones(i am ready for another fix).
I'm sure encouraging console sales is half the idea with the late PC releases but come on...
Will the season still be running by the time we get it??

I'm a PC gamer and this version will no doubt be awesome but online is where it's at and you have to ask yourself what platform will have the strongest online scene. Sadly it will be the consoles. I guess what I'm saying is that if you're an AFL tragic and you have a steady income then it can be a worthwhile investment. But play it somewhere first, you might not like it.

All this aside surely it's time for BA to announce the exact date of the PC version.

They've said they won't announce it until after the patch clears, and the patch hasn't cleared.


Going to be pretty silly if it doesn't come out until after the end of the season...

They will release it when they are good and ready. It has been said that it wont be released til the patch is out and thats in sony/M$ court now.

Well they didnt even want to make a PC version the publishers wanted a PC version released so will be interesting to see how much care was taken with it in regards to bugs etc.

Or if its just a cheap an nasty rush job port.

Was hyped for this game but its clear they dont give a stuff about PC.
So might not even bother now.

An once the patch for console is finally out im sure they will make PC version wait another month before releasing.

The price of putting it on steam is probably more than what they would make.

Ross said that he wouldn't have made a PC version if given the choice. It was purely up to the suppliers. I normally get games on PC if I have the option because they can run in proper HD and are generally smoother. AFL looks and runs fine though and will have many more players online on the consoles than on the PC.

C'mon Big Ant! It has been more than 2 months since the console release; at least a placeholder date should be given for the PC version!
