so looks like the pc version has been abandoned...a shame really, me and my friends were looking forwards to trying it out. guess we'll be playing fifa instead then

Pretty pathetic, really. Firstly stuffing around with the late PC release date, then not even bothering to say anything about it at all.

Don't think I'll bother with next year's version even if it comes out on PC,.

I'm not a betting man, but I would say the publisher is waiting for console sales to slow to a trickle before releasing the PC version. If this is the case and guessing they haven't that would explain things - Tru Blu don't know when sales are going to wind down so they don't know when the PC version is going to be released.

Strange though that Ross wouldn't visit this thread and say at least something on their behalf.

I would assume sales wouldn't drop until well after the finals - which means they'll be releasing it well into the cricket season, if not at the start of the next season. I imagine that would put off potential buyers.

It's been almost exactly 5 months.

And RLL came out on PC with very little fanfare.

lol what do you expect though? the initial excitement is gone, pc gamers treated like dirt, no news from developers for 5 months. it's just really poor

Go visit the big ant office.

Ask to go to the toilets, in the male or female toilets will be a ventillation grate crawl through and it will lead you to other sections of office, sooner or later in one of the places u search there will be a PC version of the game sitting around pick it up an exit.
Maybe ive been playing too much of the new deus ex game but anyway go to there office an there will be a copy somewhere.
About the only way you will get it anytime soon.

But yep its all piracys fault has nothing to do with stupid marketing like this an making them wait so long that everyones forgotten about the game.

Gonna be lucky to sell 5000 copies if they ever actually do bother releasing it

I don't think they care though (stating the obvious a bit I guess).

They'd rather minimal sales on the PC with full potential of sales on console than releasing at similar times and potentially having the PC audience go for a pirated version instead of purchasing for console thus taking sales.

There have been many inquiries regarding AFL Live for PC, and we are happy to inform you that the estimated release is within the next six weeks.

Off their Facebook page. Releasing it after AFL season means it won't sell well, then we'll see Tru Blu coming out and saying it's because of piracy. :rolleyes:

Let's just hope they stick to their word and it is out then. Still, pretty stupid that it's taken this long for it to be released to the PC especially since the AFL Season is basically over.

i'm on their facebook page and can't seem to find it any chance you can send me a link towards it.
i've checked their website but that is absolutely hopeless

I don't seem to be able to find it on their Fb page either, whether as one of their posts or in reply. I'll believe it when I see it.
