No I don't think you could punch, all you could do was bump, which is the best way to win centre clearance!!

My EB says 22 September too - but oh well.

I don't think all should be too annoyed with the delay as it is highly likely that they are fine tuning and hopefully eliminating all bugs which plagued the previous versions (that and cruddy gameplay).

I would rather have a good solid game with good gameplay/difficulty than a half assed effort which is bug ridden and easy.

My EB changed to 22 Sept aswell. Got a pre order :D

I'm not gonna bother... Aslong as IR Gurus are making AFL games there aren't gonna be any good ones.

Lets just Hope EA sports not only publishes another AFL game but also DEVELOPS it aswell.

exactly....

How can Tony Jones and Gary Lyon be playing the ps2 version of this game on the Today Show on Channel 9 this morning during the AFL preview at 7:20am and yet game is not out in stores.
Surely if they are getting the 2nd most known football idenity at Channel 9 to promote the game, then it should be out!!

Maybe those of you ringing Sony, should mention this.

PM

just got this from sony....i asked:

hello.

i have heard alot of rumours about this game being re-sheduled yet again and just wondering whether these rumours are just that, or whether they are truthful.

Kind Regards
Jason

What after the crap efforts of AFL 98 and 99!!
When game crashed as soon as you interchanged a player, as the program would not render correctly!!
Plus the very poor effort with commentry on Cricket 2005, commetators saying things totally out of context with what is happening, believe it or not the commentry of Cricket 2005 has gone backwards from Cricket 2004 and Cricket 2002!!

You realize that the game has been completed right? The set back date isn't so they can fine tune and add extras, it's just a sale plot.

Right now the game is finished and we're not getting it for a few extra weeks because they want to release it during finals where the hype is.
