lol at all the good posts in here, well done guys ! :thumbsu:

Good pick on Port.

I did well myself, but in one of my bets needed the Power to win by over 15.5, lol.

Brett Ebert chokes inside the last minute, inside the last minute to score !!!!

Cant complain, arguably this has been my greatest round ever considering the outlay and the returns.:D:thumbsu:

I have had a few unprofitable weeks and at the moment I am sitting on a $8.50 profit which is better than a loss. I am considering the Freo vs Adelaide bet but then again I might just take the $8.50 profit and wait for the week

Gratz to all that got on Port, I never got on (got comfy in my seat at Etihad and never moved).

Had 20 on the pies to win under 39.5, actually was cheering as the pies chipped the ball around late.

Still think Adelaide are a chance. If they get the first couple of goals in the second half, Freo have a history of caving in.

I'm far from impressed with my Adelaide win bet, but i've taken Adelaide +29.5 at half time, surely they'll make some sort of run at this?????

Spewing about this bet I had.

Looked very good at 3/4 time in Bulldogs v Pies - what happened Dogs!!!

Carlton (-15.5) @ $1.85
Geelong (-15.5) @ $1.46
Hawthorn (-15.5) @ $1.41
Sydney/St, Kilda (Either team under 15.5) @ $ 2.85
Port Adelaide/ North Melb (Either team under 15.5) @ $2.95
W. Bulldogs / Collingwood (Either team under 15.5) @ $2.75

All up Odds - 88.053. $10 wagered. Possible return $880.50.

Why do I post this now and not before? Well, had far too many bets to post here and hopefully posting this bet will provide a lesson/advice/hope to you betting guys out there.

Obviously - it was very close to coming off. The mistake I made was not realising Dogs/Pies was going to be on at the same time as Port/North Melb. Thought it was twilight and starting later - silly me didn't check. Could have easily covered myself if I'd thought to look at that when I made the bet.

The point is though - you can have gut feelings about games and be correct. My gut was telling me the Pies would win. Should have stuck with that and had Pies (Under 39.5) as the last leg. Similar odds.

I know i got very lucky on Port/North with this bet, so it wasn't a perfect bet by any means. Just spewing!

Don't feel too sorry for me though - like most on here, the fact most of the favourites got up this weekend meant there was a decent profit made - this would have been the cherry on top at large odds though.

My advice to Gets - who doesn't bet on lines. That's silly mate - you clearly don't have a Centrebet account.

When a half decent team plays Melbourne for instance, or Richmond, or Fremantle away - why would you just take the H2H? You're doing yourself and your bank account a disservice. At least take (-15.5) or even (-24.5) - if there's one thing I learned this weekend - Melbourne & Richmond are probably going to be the 2 best teams to make money off - again. Fremantle away next week looks good as well.

If you don't take lines against these teams, its almost not worth betting!
