even 1/10th is silly talk especially at the line.

i have upped my stake on GC lowest score, it looks a lot better after some more researching.

Geelongs opponent has three times gotten the lowest score of the round, two other times they missed out by a few points.

Gold Coast are yet to have the lowest score for the round but who have they played thats really any good.
Carlton and Essendon are the only top 8 sides, and they managed only 52 and 58 against them.

Half your bank against the wooden spooner playing the premier AWAY! Balls of steel or half mad? Time will tell. A little of column A a little of column B ...:p

WE have balls of steel. Its just a 4 of us who started with 8 units. The rules were simple, no more than 2 teams and every round every dollar must be punted.
We withdrew our 8 units at round 4, we bought dining room seats at Caulfield Guineas round 6, we withdrew 15 units at round 9 for a punters day.
Its all fun, but we are finding the winners nevertheless finding some losers too along the line.
I post up what the 4 of us are backing, sure there is no stake hedging etc, its just fun.
Its great to read the round threads on here albeit I cant say I have followed anyone but I do have a looksee at Baywatch and I like Kardinia Parks and twarby`s input.

I know what you mean though and that is a solid staking plan for people to use but that doesnt mean its the only way to make money

Not everyone is out there to run it like a business. Punting is just a fun hobby for most people

Yeah, I understand that mate.

Im sure it is a hobby for everyone around here? I know that is the case for me. I am not a big punter by any means atm, but think there is nothing wrong with taking a systematic approach.

Carlton -24.5
Sydney H2H
Geelong -64.5
Brisbane +39.5

$100 @ $7.85

Carlton -15.5
Sydney H2H
Geelong -39.5
Brisbane +39.5
Hawthorn -15.5
Collingwood -15.5

$70 @ $10.13

Also going Gold Coast for the lowest score of the round

its a hobby, but i too like to do it very systematically and thats how i have good success, but everyone is different. i do take it seriously though.

I can understand haysies way of doing it, i used to do similar.. if hes still making a profit at the end of the year than that is even better as not many would be able to come out with profit after a long period of large risks like that.

I agree with that. For me its great fun, I have an interst in quite a few games over the week. I enjoy that and for the other 3 lads in my group, all the sms`inG and taking the piss is friends for life stuff. If we go broke tomorrow we all had a rapport and fun.
