Buddy hasn't been a failure.
He's pulled out some brilliant individual performances for Sydney.

The backend of his contract could hurt Sydney though if they are to enter a rebuild and an aging Franklin is still on the list with coin.

Yeh, he's got that contract through to the end of 2022, so he'll be 35.
Depending on his contract structure, (front or back loaded),
Casting an eye to the future, I just wonder if his contract may prevent Sydney from preparing their next generation fully.
He's been brilliant for the Swans, and the AFL, but he might cost Sydney a few years after he's retired.
