Four years.
Reports of his demise are well exaggerated, and without underplaying the supreme job Hurley did last night, he's clearly not 100% right at the moment.

With front loading of his contract and his age, whether he actually play another four years is another matter of course. The nine years was as much about locking him away as a Swan for the rest of his career, which is fair enough. It'going to be a long 4 years then. By the way, the Bombers were superb last night.
Saw Hugh Jackman in a snazzy seat last night with a glass of white, he looked a bit of a toff!
Ah well the, sipping white wine speaks volumes about the club he supports.Hugh supports the Swans but Deborra is a Bomber fan.
She even offered Jobe Watson a job in New York during his ASADA ban!
I’ve said it nearly every week, but the umpiring has been absolutely appalling all year. I haven’t been an umpire basher prior to this season. They have been unspeakably bad, I don’t know what it is - perhaps all the tweaking with the rules has finally caught up with them.
No 17 (Schmitt) should not be umpiring AFL. He makes shocking call after shocking call every week. Clueless.

Yeah, definitely not 100%. It was the first game I could remember in ages where Kennedy didn't completely tear us apart.Yeah, there's clearly something wrong there. Kennedy didn't look his usual self either (suspect from his back jarring last week).
60,000 club members and you apparently know the drinking preferences of every one of them. I’m impressed.Ah well the, sipping white wine speaks volumes about the club he supports.
And Schmidt coulndn't bounce the ball to save himself.I actually think this is the problem. They get asked to change their interpretations so often, they just have no clue anymore. There are patches in some games where they just pay the obvious ones and let it flow, and you think "awesome, they've figured it out", but it never lasts more than a quarter or two.
Well, I happen to like wine. Gee whizz, 60,00 members that's fantastic.60,000 club members and you apparently know the drinking preferences of every one of them. I’m impressed.

Delighted with the win!
I thought it had been reported that it was front loaded, could be false for all I know though.Has it been front loaded though? I seem to recall the later years were actually slightly higher (which in theory makes cap sense as it should go up once or twice in nine years). But maybe I’m remembering incorrectly.
I believe they need to count it in the cap though, whether he retires before the contract end or not.
It was terrible for both sides i reckon. Both sets of supporters had reason to go apeshit at the umps at various times.
Does the game need fixing or does more investment need to go into the ump dept?

He seems to never be able to. Worst bouncer I've seen. And Schmidt coulndn't bounce the ball to save himself.
Mason Cox would give him a run for his money. He seems to never be able to. Worst bouncer I've seen.
