Western bulldogs tri bet over 15.5 points 4/1 (sportsbet)
Giddy up!

Not sure how anyone could want to bet on WB...

They've won 1 of their last 18 (Bris in Melbourne) and average losing margin is just under 10 goals.
15 of those losses were by 30+, so even backing them at the line seems high risk.

I know its gold coast...but at least they've got ablett!

Agreed. No idea why you would put good money on such a terrible team. As soon as Neeld gets the Tijuana brass, McCartney will find his name in the headlines for the same reasons.

And Bennell, and swallow, and omeara, and Smith. All guns.

If Dixon returns i think GC are a good thing. WB are horrible.

The real question is can GC notch up back to back wins, hasnt been done in their short history.

I've read Dixon and the Gold Coast "hunt" are both out ....

Bulldogs have a 3-zip record against GC

I think too much hype around GC's 10 goal win against melbourne ...

Bulldogs pushed the kanga's up until the last 15mins ...

Ill be taking Bulldogs with some points on Centrebet.

I dont think the Suns have the ability to string wins together although they have impressed me at stages throughout the year.

Bulldogs by 2 goals i think

Because North don't traditionally win at Subi. Simple. That's not to say it won't be a competitive loss though.

Very insightful. And other than the obvious 2 WA teams, who does traditonally win at Subi? We beat the Eagles there in 2010 so its not like it has never happened.

OP said North were 'No Chance' and i was asking why he was so definitive. You clearly are as ignorant as he is.

I think Eagles are deserved favorites, but i would not give North 'no chance'.

GC has Ablett and alot of young guns.

Minson no1 hit outs this season in teh league

Griffen, COoney, Murphy, Gia, Goodes, Dahlhaus, Libba, SMith and Jones flying high. These guys should be enough to get us over the line. GC are good but dont think they will lose back to back. We have had a shocking run of injuries including our captain and have alot of players back last week and this week. This is why we pushed north for 3 qtrs who still won by 9 goals

North at the line looks very tempting and think they will cover it, North are a very good side with a tough draw this year, dont under estimate them.

Saints and Freeo are teh other 2 I would look at but will just watch and see what happens with them, not too confident.

Geelong wont blow the pies away as everybody is predicting.

Ok ill bite. Please tell me why north are no chance so I don't waste my Friday night watching the footy

Yeah you're right. I'm obviously wrong to say that they are no chance. I just think WC will be too good.

For mine, North are a season away from being a consistent, top 4, football side. Until they are, they will struggle to travel. Perth is the toughest road trip and last year they only managed to win 3 games outside of Melbourne. 2 wins against GWS (one of these games was a home game in TAS) and once against GC.

They lost at Paterson, AAMI, Aurora, Blundstone and SCG.

This year they are yet to have an 'away' game outside of Melbourne. So it will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.

Spot on, until North prove they can travel, they will not be getting any of my money.

I still have memories of what happened in the final last year at Subi.

Fri/Sat games:
NM +20.5 $1.90
Essendon -52.5 $1.90
Hawks HT margin 37+ $1.45
Western Bulldogs 1-39 $2.80
Geelong 1-39 $2.15
Swans 1-39 $2.12

I've placed a $10 multi @ ~$67 already. I think some of these odds will be lower after teams are released.

That's a good looking multi.

Honourable losses are a dime a dozen. True that last weeks one was only by 9 goals...slightly less than usual for the dogs.

I'm not rating Gold Coast at all, but just think there's better bets than one on a team that basically lose by a lot every single week ...even GWS have a better record than WB in the last 18 games

... Why dont you put your money on GC then? I wont go into detail outlining good reasons and how score lines dont tell the whole story (besides loosing to Fremantle by 28 and Geelong by 21), happy for you to push the dogs price out even further :)

Hmm I put forward in my eyes a good argument and reasoning to why i bet on the bulldogs

Outlined a few reasons why/if/but ...

Now if you don't think as I do .. And believe GC @ 1.6 are a good bet/value then put your $$$ on them...

Some of the guys on here thinking GC will win ?? Are putting in alot of effort to win an opinion based argument.
