What? Adelaide havent beaten North since 2009..
My bad, I was thinking of the Carlton game when Dangerfield beat them by himself. I still think Adelaide is a good thing. The Crows massacred the Saints in a low scoring game tonight. Imagine what would have happened if Texas Walker was playing. The Crows would have demolished them like a chainsaw.

They beat the Saints by 40 points which is hardly a massacre, they won at home but play North away, then there is the fact North are much better than the Saints. Ill be taking the North line later in the week

I like the looks of WB, Essendon and Crows at those prices.

Also Melbourne worth a little bit. Freo play a low scoring game style and Melbourne usually make the most out of their scoring shots...

Will see what it looks like later in the week.

Had 4 units on GWS and 1 saver on melbourne RE lowest score ... Adel v saints painful to watch and painful result...

Bulldogs in the never back again category ...

Looks like a lot of us got boned by that score from the Saints. Still think it was a good bet, Saints had way more scoring shots than GWS. That bloody Cameron is a dead eye. He is going to be unstoppable once his supply increases - although maybe it's just that no one cares enough to cover him properly.

Port out to 6.50 now. Can anyone tell me what the line might look like for this game?
Does anyone know why the lines are delayed this week? And some books don't even have any match odds (at midday Monday). Using a standard formula, odds of 6.50 for Port vs 1.09 is probably about a +43.5 start or so. At current odds AFL Predictor App will like Richmond, Adelaide & St Kilda plus Port to cover that line.

the lines never come out until ~monday afternoon at some bookies and then tuesday at others.

That was the case last year, but this year Sportsbet has been out with lines late Sunday night and the others have had at least odds by Monday morning. Maybe Sportsbet were losing money on the early $1.92 lines? Damn, AFL Predictor has just increased its bank by 73.5% in two weeks mainly using those lines ...

Crows were fairly average last night despite the final margin (St Kilda were woeful). I'd be hesitant about putting too much $ on them this week.

4 teams have started the week as 1.01 fav and none of them covered the line. Essendon gws, Geelong dogs, Richmond Melbourne, hawthorn gws. This week we have hawthorn gc, freo Melbourne and wc gws

Love the look of:
Adelaide + 14.5
(NM coming back from Perth after yet another demoralising loss, Will have 9 Days Off which might disrupt their routine. Crows - Good Win against Saints & Normal 7 Day Break)
Essendon -4.5
(Have to back the better team here. Coming off a few disappointing losses, should rebound and come out hard in the DreamTime game)
Western Bulldogs +28.5 (Matches up with the Saints. Both teams are have hard, strong midfielders but lack the outside run, polish. Still don't rate Saints- they've only had the 1 good win & will be off a 6-day break)
Port Adelaide +32.5(A decent team that should bounce back. S. Johnson doubtful for the Cats.)
Brisbane +16.5 (Might finally see the Brisbane team that we expected at the end of the NAB Cup. Guns in Brown, Black, Zorko, Rockliff, Redden. Beat Carlton convincingly in their last match, albeit a NAB Cup Grand Final.

All of the teams above are a chance SU as well. Will take Port Adelaide just for the value. They are paying $5.60 at Sportsbet
