DGB is a bust, why do you think Hawthorne are chasing Barrass (the good one) and Battle?

So what has DGB done wrong that he should be a bust? He sounds like the perfect cheapie we'd look into who, ya know, just needs a fresh start.

That’s rubbish.
He starred for the jets at the start of the season and he hit some amazing targets at the young guns game in Werribee.
Adrian has been a major component of the clubs demise.
If you do not see this I have a bridge to sell you.
I really believe Adrian loves the club but he has been put in a job he was not qualified to do and has questionable work ethic,
Being a Kevin Sheedy parasite got him a long way.

They have tried DGB back and forward and now it looks like they are bringing in two more defenders via FA. He has been very underwhelming.

Not a good runnner, gives away stupid free kicks because he can’t control his emotions.

Been on the list for 5 years and had zero impact.

Barrass is turning 29 and his body has allowed him an AVG of 15 games per season. Hope they over pay

He's not my style of player but the saving grace for DGB is that on paper he is a similar player to McGovern and Barrass.

It's a style of player West Coast has gotten a lot out of so being included in a swap makes a bit of sense.

We need a proven key forward and a small forward. Anything else is a nice to have.

Smith isn't what we need but he's also coming back from an injury and has missed an extreme amount of footy, so there's a risk of form and also reinjury.

Not really a risk, I imagine the club would have a fair idea of who (if anyone) is likely to bid on Kako, and have had some discussions about live trading the first out if need-be.

Not going to be about the coin unfortunately. Will be about who has the best picks or player to trade. He would be great but I do not think we have the resources to get him other than cap space. Dogs will not trade him for cheap. Personally I think the play this year is use the first pick. Take Kako. I think the risk of a bid on Kako before our first pick is very slim.

I would not say his kicking is the worst but it is not great. Agree we need his type but maybe a better kicking version.
