I don't disagree with the first list.

Goldy is 50/50 either way. Menzie wouldn't go before him simply through the fact he's shown to be AFL capable at 21 and isn't made of tissue paper. Kelly and Setterfield are similar in ability but Kelly stays on the park and in a different position. Hind too.

If he plays the year out he gets a one year extension. If there's another 6+ week injury we have to consider other alternatives.

You know I’m a massive fan boy of Setterfield but my opinion on keeping him on isn’t from the heart - its an honest opinion when summing up the list. Yeah the injuries are a problem but he’s good enough so you either back him in or cut him and replace, if there is someone good enough. Berry is the one. When I look at other FAs like Parfitt or Graham. Id defs take Setterfield for another season

Looks like Jay Rantall is giving VFL another crack with Werribee. We know he can run like the absolute clappers, if he goes well he's available to sign at the end of the year as a DFA for some wing depth.

Why would he sign when he doesn’t get games. He’s been good in the VFL I’d imagine there’s a few teams hoping to snag him.

Really deserves a run at being KPD2 the run home allowing Ridley to play as 3rd tall

Because hes shown plenty at VFL and 200cm bean poles take time

Yeah I was saying from Hayes perspective why lock himself into Essendons vfl squad when he’d get an AFL opportunity at a bunch of other clubs.

I think he’d be waiting to see what happens with Weideman and Reid.

Can’t be 6th in line in your 3rd season.
