Snuffaluphagus it looks like pick 13 might have been up for grabs with Lobb. Talk that it might be on the table for Breust. If it was then I don't know how we didn't offer to pay some salary unless we couldn't cap wise.

Yeah I was just thinking that, if we turned down 13 with some salary paid for Lobb, I'd like to know why. I'd assume its never that simple or straight forward though. Surely GWS werent talking 13 straight for Breust regardless of the salary paid. I think Hawks would almost tell Breust to pack his bags for that price

No the trick is you tell them you want a pick better than #22 for it. Then when they find a way to get North's #20, then you come back and say they will need to hand over a future 1st as well.

Throw some dough at Brander as a stop gap and bring in 2 big forwards with 13 and 19 to develop

We played Lobb even when he was injured, if he could stand he was played. That extra year makes all the difference.
