It's worse than wrights hit because Rankine had the ball, Houston had the option to tackle instead of bump
Wright had the option to contest the mark and he jumped, unlike Houston. Peter Wright did more wrong than Houston did.

You're allowed the bump to the body. You just have to wear the consequence when it goes wrong.

It’s just another thing to be open to interpretation and subjectivity. Please no. Incidents happen. Toby Bedford would have been sent off for his tackle on Taranto probably if you had a MRO type watching it.
Send offs and sin bins would have there place for blatant and deliberate acts. Sure there is ofcoarse interpretation but to have nothing is just silly.

Would you believe that Port ended up with the free kick?
Because they did
No we didn't. Jason Horne-Francis was took a mark and the umpires called a stop to play.
Crows got the first 5 frees of the night and Port had a mark not paid that should have and that was it they were always going to **** us after that

Butters somehow a bigger diver than Robbie Gray was
The umpires carried the Crows for the whole game.

Minimum 4. Some regulation tackles that have unfortunately resulted in concussions this year have been 3 week bans, purely on outcome.

This would have to be severe, that "fencing response" is not good, AFL would hate the imagery of that doing the rounds on media and will surely be pushing for as much as they can get. Approached the contest side on with the only intention to bump. Gotta be intentional, high and severe. Year done.

Another reminder that the AFL should have a send off rule like every other code. Took out the opposition’s best player with a dirty hit.

Yep and then give it 5 years and players will be getting sent off for absolutely nothing. Never understand this logic. When it happens less then a handful of times a year.

Will they? Doesn't happen like that in rugby league, rugby and American football.
