They beat a very ordinary under strength Calamvale by 80 oddpts....Calamvale will lose against the good sides in div 2 by this margain.

200 points? what the hell do you think this is? unless you've picked up gary ablett senior's son, gary ablett junior, then there is no way you will beat us by that much. Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall! Go bears!:footy::thumbsu:
 
jeez I hope Calamvale beat logan on saturday, then we might start getting a feel of where clubs are at.
 
Kenmores Captains may have only played less then 10 senior games last year but one was due to injury and the other was from poor choice by the coach.

As for Alex Hills who have they lost this year?

It was a shortened game and quite a few ressies were playing. If we were full strength, we would have pumped you by even more.

We're going to be very close to full strength this weekend against Kenmore. If that is true about their captains, then they are going to be in a world of hurt.

My tip: Bombers by 207 points.

Faulkner is the only person we have lost that can't be replaced. The other players weren't that great and we have better people who have come to the club in the off-season.

We're going to ****ing stick it up Kenmore this weekend.

The reason I'm tipping us to win by 200 points is that we have an awesome bunch of blokes this year and we're going to be the team to beat. Also, it sounds like we will be lining up on Kenmore's reserves team from last year and they were shit. Why hasn't Kenmore dropped down a division or 3?

Is this hartlett Bloke for real?? I think he may be more suited to the Yeronga club! You and Rabbit will get on just fine. I hear from earlier posts he has a great "culture" going on down there. I am sure you fill fit right in!

I hope you're the captain of Kenmore, otherwise you mustn't have any talent. From what has been said, you only need to know how to pick the ball up to be in the leadership group.

Anyone know the names of any of the fellas that are captains at Kenmore? Want to ask some of the ressies at my club if they remember them.

i wouldnt be too concerned regarding our obviously young (or old and senile) friend hartlett. i am thinking he maybe taking the piss out of everyone here and not even associated with alex, tho struggling to see the point as most of us sensible footy people know only too well what usually happens with such big (and utterly ridiculous) statements made in march........ they get thrown back with egg straight to the face!!!

You're probably right my skinny friend. He probably isn't even involved with Alex. Still gets me riled up to hear people sledging my club for no good reason.

Kenmore captains are James Dobbson and Rene Choustouski and the vice-captains are Daniel Wayne and Ben Pollott. Admittedly I was a bit suprised about one of the selections given that one of the guys was a reserve all year last year, but it is probably the right mix of youth and experience to lead the club in what will be a very tough season.

What team are you from? You'll see what I'm talking about when we play you. I know it is pretty early to be talking up our chances, but if we had this team last year, then we would have won the comp by 5 goals minimum. By the sounds of what has happened to some of the other clubs, it should be a pretty straightforward year. I can taste the champagne already.

Seems to know a decent amount about Alex though (and the rest of the league for that matter) which makes me think that your first statement about him being young is the more likely. really looking forward to hearing the score from the Kenmore, Alex game this weekend. Alex would want to win ALL games this season hartlett, for your sake!

I have heard of Daniel Wayne, but haven't heard of the others. Will have to ask some ressies at training. That Daniel fella played on the wing/half forward line last year didn't he? He looked like he was 16 years old.
 
agree bear in there can be disappointing for people to bag your club when down really know any facts or ever been part of the inner workings of it..

also agree chika, sounds like clive palmer from gold coast united last year... and those statements went well... must be young i think, this bloody gen y thinking they know everything haha..

wouldnt you like to know where im from hartlett, would it make an ounce of difference.. seems like you hate and dont rate anyone!! all i can so tho is i bet your coach and team mates would love to know the incredible amounts of ammo you are giving the rest of the comp - know teams will want to be anyone else more now i think...

Mate, would love for you guys to try and beat us. The only team that will be competitive against us is Caloundra. That Frenchy guy is very hard to stop. With the crop of players we have this year, we should still beat them by 4-5 goals on a bad day.

Happydaze, Calamvale had better hope they beat Logan. Word from down that way is players Logan have picked up from Geelong League have had to return for a unfortunate funeral. So Logan SHOULD be at Reserve grade strength. It will take them a few weeks to get their numbers back!
Will be very interesting to see & then line it up with the Alex game.

I wont to change my tip for the DIV 2 GF, Kedron out & after doing a bit of home work, Redcliffe will be joined by Logan in the big one. UQ will hold onto the spoon just from a rapidly dropping Beenleigh & Moorooka/Griffith!

I know a bloke that trains with both Logan & Springwood & reckons that with the players that Logan have attracted, Cobras would dust the Pumas at this stage!

Yeah that's Dan Wayne. He's 18 and one of the more talented 18 year olds we have had at the club for some time. If you were playing seniors you might not have played against the other guys, but we had a strong team last year and all 3 were knocking on the door.

There will be few things more satisfying than pumping you guys this year!
