Feeling slightly more positive about Indi staying after listening to her quick question and answer session, where she mentioned Sarah Goodwin as being one of her best friends.

You can tell from that short clip that she's not very excitable or expressive with her emotions, so probably wouldn't read too much into her looking flat on draft day. I think that's just how she is.

Good to see her mention a desire to play in a finals series. If we can remain a premiership threat, I wouldn't be surprised to see her stick around at least long enough to win a flag.

“I’m feeling really good at the moment, I had that year off to reflect and I’m really glad I went through those challenges because I’ve come out on the brighter side, and ended up here,” Ewings said.

“I lost my way a little bit this year, and ended up taking some personal leave, but I feel really refreshed now and excited by the opportunity to be around a new group and part of the environment the group has built here.”

“I grew up in Whyalla, which was affiliated with North Adelaide as well as the Crows Academy, and I was lucky enough to be selected in both programs as a junior, where I was able to fast track my development.

“From there, Chelsea Randall, Hatchy (Anne Hatchard), and even Erin Phillips were there coaching me, and they all had such a great influence on my journey.

“To be back where it all kind of started now, I couldn’t be happier, it definitely feels like a bit of a full circle moment for me and it's a really nice, warm feeling.”

Fairly bullish about next year, given we have recruited/drafted so well. One of our issues is the underperformance of the bottom few players on the fringe of the team. They seem to be a bit blocked by Time on Ground, but still don't smash it with the time they get.

You'd have to think we can get better performance out of S. Allan and Ponter as well. More from Charlton and Kusterman too.

Can Randall keep it up? She killed it this year. Still, there is lots to like, lots of improvement possible in the squad.

Hoping that the Coaching Director position is 'Whole of Club' and is there for Doc Clarke ad assistants which may lack coaching experience. These being Renee Forth, Madgen, Strachen, Rajcic, Cramey & Hannah Button.
