Only ever paid ball once (against franklin vs geelong)I thought she was gone, she had a fair amount of opportunity to get rid of it before getting tackled over the line.
I dunno, seems on par with yesterday. It seems like every aspect of Women's footy has improved tenfold bar the umpiring
A lot of positives to take from the performance so far- massive gap in experience and learning to deal with some horrendous umpiring. We were a real shot at half time
Went in celebrating - first red flag
Then the Lions stepped up a bit
Then the umps stepped up
Just mention yesterday to them. Finally a free
Moron lions supporters here are drunk and care more about antagonising oppo fans then watching the play.

Wow! For someone who claims to be older, you are certainly painting your self as a tantrum throwing teenager. Good for you. Own it.Wrong. Hawks ran out of gas and the Lions started to play to their ability. Too many passengers in the Hawks team that you’d prefer to blow smoke up. Too many that aren’t ready for this level, some will probably never make it. Some that will make it aren’t playing well. If this happened in the men’s space, they would be called out…..albeit via the safety of the keyboard.
Not to mention the coach was out coached in the second half.
Looks like the Hawks don’t train with game like pressure. The amount of poor decisions made when the Lions turned up the heat was very alarming. Worst part of this was no ball security inside the contest in our defensive 50. Tapping the ball out into chaos in that area of the ground is dumb footy.
The poster in question does not post on many men's threads. And comes in ttopot the women without even a hint of optimism.Wow! For someone who claims to be older, you are certainly painting your self as a tantrum throwing teenager. Good for you. Own it.
Yep. Amazingly I remember when AFLW first started, it was awful. 20 m kicks were long, nobody could pick up a stationary ball, and handballing the ball the punching hand wouldn't even make contact, it has come so far in such a short time. A similar arc to women's cricket. 15 years ago, the boundaries were only just beyond the 30 m circle, now they are hitting 85 m sixes. The poster in question does not post on many men's threads. Also has an unhealthy obsession with Charlotte Baskaran
possibly difficult to generate that game pressure at training (as we have less skill base and less experience base) cf what Brisbane can do in their trainingWrong.
