anyone know anything about how ivanhoe, mentone, yarra, peninsula are going?
i heard assumption beat pegs by 4 or so goals but not sure whether it was praccy game or herald shield or what.
Marcelling sound pretty strong if they beat melbourne high that easily coz melbourne high arent terrible.

tinney, oldfield, birrel, brown yet 2 show best form due to mix of injury and resting. spassopolus been their best player through pre-season. major lack of depth however through rest of years. eckersley is a great player in yr 11

Those line up of boys should do well tho, when the season starts rolling. Spassopoulos is hungry from the lack of TAC footy and Eckerlsy is a nutcase. Trinity will do poorly unless there guns show...

yarra will again be ordinary in 08. had a practise match against peninsula. in patches put forward an ok effort but overall a big loss. a few good younger 10 and 11s in their side that are talented but as with any good football side a strong yr 12 core group is needed and yarra doesnt have this, no potential captain, will finish bottom 2 with ivanhoe

yeah ack beat pegs in herald sun shield and are looking very good
 
trinity still havent finished selecting its final squad they smashed camberwell on thursday. trinity are trying to bring up some youngsters from year 10 and have been trying them out alot. eckersly is not a nut case whoever said that is a ________. haha on brett barrett lol. trinity will go alright mid table this year but watch out for future years trinity year 9's havent lost a game since the start of year 7 and the year 10's lost one game last year so there is a lot of promise coming

Trinity beat Camberwell on Thursday the 24th, at Trinity, by around 10-12 goals. Trinity rested half its players in the second half, so didnt play there best team, but still smashed Camberwell. Although Trinity lost there first 3 practise matches, good to see they won against Camberwell. Should do alright this year
 
Not many posts about ACK here. Do you not have access to Internet if you're boarding?

Internet was never invented when I boarded there and it was usually a half hour wait to get on a payphone so I'd be interested to hear how it works these days?
 
peninsula looking the goods this season smashing yarra with half a side..with a premiership winning group of year 10s coming through and a very solid yr 11 group. also the likes of adams and goodingham leading the year 12's should be hard to beat.

Just for the update... Trinity years 10s beat the peninsula years 10s last season mate... so they just beat us bi percentage so where technically the best soo oohhhh no.. hawks 08 buddy loove
 
Trinity lost by 5 points in a close toughly fought out contest

bests for trinity: tinney brown birrel eckersley

jamie sheahan knocked himself out but come back on late in the game.
 
peninsula beat a much improved yarra valley by about 30 points

the usual suspects playing well for peninsula with adams goodingham and pitt all showing great signs

captain for pen: barton and oneil
 
Mentone have recruited a big backline player apparently, keir i think it is, tore it up in the praccy match, hard at it and skills as well. look out for him during the season.
