Have i ever said Stanton is elite?
Stanton gets tagged week in week out and gets his 25 possies
Didak gets tagged once and chuckes the biggest bitch fit of all time
Imagine if he got tagged every week lol...

Nice bit of squirming there. You Bombers supporters have a hide judging any player from another side. The last elite player you had was Hird and before that you'd have to go back to Tim Watson.

You can re-interpret "elite" as many times as you like, the facts are all that count.

Jobe.

Wins the same amount of possesions as Didak, but his touches are contested, more tackles, more clearances.

Jobe also doesn't pick up half his disposals in the back pocket.

If Didak is elite, so is Watson.

wut?

I just thought you were taking the piss when you said it, it's staggering that you actually believe it.

Watson isn't in the top 50 players in the comp.

lets not forget the fact that didaks possessions hurt the opposition..

didak with the ball in his hand is one of the most dangerous players in the competition.

watson on the other hand....

Plays the outside role to perfection.

The best "icing" player in the game.

Would struggle if he played in a side with a poor midfield.

Our midfield in 2006 wasn't nearly as good as it is now and Didak was AA.

He plays the position the teams best needs him and right now he is the finisher.

In 2006 he was the half forward playmaker.

Didak rides off the hard work of Collingwoods good midfield, Swan, Pendles, O'Bree. He would be found out in a bad team.

Round 18

Didak: 29 touches, 5 marks, 1 goal, 1 tackle, 4 clearances 62% DE

Watson: 29 touches, 4 marks, 0 goals, 10 tackles, 4 clearances 62% DE

Jackasses.

Stop it - you're embarrasing yourself

Round 17:

Didak: 24 touches, 3 marks, 4 tackles, 1 goal, 3 clearances, 67% DE

Watson (Mind you, was badly corked during this game so spent a large amount of time on the bench after the cork and during the game)

22 touches, 6 marks, 1 tackle, 4 clearances 77% DE

Jackasses.

Stop jizzing your pants after Didak kicks a lucky goal once every 5 matches, just because you don't notice Watson at the bottom of the packs winning the hard ball doesn't mean he is any less of a player.

Had Scott Burns winning the hard ball. No shame with being an outside player.

He'd never be an elite inside player.

Yeah and they are completely different players. It is like saying Peverill was better than Lovett because he got the same amount of possessions, but his touches were contested etc etc.

Go and make a poll, see who would take Watson over Didak, I doubt you'll be surprised.

Not implying Watson isn't a good player, but you are having a joke if you think Watson and Didak are on the same level.

How so?

We've had a poor midfield pretty much until last year, and its a good midfield now and one of the main reasons is because he is in it.

He was drafted as a gun mid, can go in there and win clearances if needed - but when you have Pendlebury in there in a different timezone to everyone else, O'Bree doing the grunt work and Swanny getting it at will, why would you send a smaller body with elite skills in there if you don't need to?

Like saying 'Nigel Lappin plays outside role to perfection, would struggle in a poor midfield'.

Didak was AA in 2006 with a pretty ordinary midfield.

Yeah we had Burns. Bucka and Licca were both coming to the end and below their best. Other midfielders we had were Holland and Ben Johnson and O'Bree. Hardly a great midfield.

Yet he was still AA that year.

Why did you pick out round 17 *edit: didn't see your previous post mentioning R.16*? A game when he was heavily tagged and wasn't dominant?
Why not today's game;
Watson 66% DE
Didak 84% DE

Watson would be steak knives in a trade for Didak if we give him up to you guys.
