I don't really think it is either but perception is reality in todays environment and we don't need this as a discussion point as a club.

He gets paid very well he isn't volunteering, we have dealt with enough off field challenges with him and wore the cost.

If I was Sonja and Todd be having a very robust discussion with him.

I am all for apologising when necessary.

That apology was not necessary by Clarko. It just takes focus off the dog act of Webster and gives the media sharks something to swarm about. You can't give them chum like that.

Had he not apologised then the media drag it out and it takes the focus away from the real issue, Webster's hit on Jy. Clarko played the game, apologised, the media will now move on and talk about the impending tribunal decision.

It was probably the first derogatory comment that came to his mind.

Personally I would have told him that he was lucky that he did it in the protected environment of the AFL because if he didn’t, he would be drinking from a straw for the next 6 months.
