Forgot about that one. Very impressive follow up for Besnards :thumbsu:

These New Puritans was something fresh from earlier this year.
Worth a listen

Noticed the five nominees for ARIA hard rock album of the year:

-Dead Letter Circus/This Is The Warning
-The Amity Affliction/Youngbloods
-Violent Soho/Violent Soho
-Airbourne/No Guts, No Glory
-Parkway Drive/Deep Blue

I have no idea how'd the judges will decide this, but gosh I hope DLC get up.

I don't know how the judges could decide either. how Grinderman 2 didn't get a nomination over any of them is beyond me. absolute tripe

my top 10 so far... in some what of an order

Women - Public Strain
Salem - King Night
Deer Hunter - Halcyon Digest
Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
LCD Soundsystem - This is Happening
Suma - Ashes
Four Tet - there is love in you
Surfer Blood - Asrto Coast
The Roots - How I got over
Grinderman - Grinderman 2

Childish Gambino - Culdesac
I was about to "New Thread" this, but I searched for any mention - Truly was wondering if anyone else around here had heard of Donald Glover's alter-ego.

I was on board as of the two I Am Just A Rapper mixtapes, but with CULDESAC, he really seems to have come of age as a real artist.

Gives something different too, as he's got fair claims to being the funniest and best writer in the game, given that he's written for 30 Rock, written a feature length film and stars in Community.

There - I've said my peace about Childish Gambino.
