00-09 has 5 key forwards, two time AA Brown shouldn't be in the time. I'd take Gehrig or Fevola over him anyway. Would drop him and put 8 time AA Ricciuto on the flank, leaving a spot on the bench.

For 10-19, I'd give the captaincy to Rance. If Mitchell was a premiership captain after 2010 then I'd give it to him. Selwoods finals record as captain is deplorable.

Surely Goddard gets a spot over Birchall at HB, not even close there.

Josh P Kennedy over Dal Santo. Dal was better pre 2010, deserves a bench spot in the 00-09 team.

All the other captains are on the bench too. Seriously though the bench is not what it used to be. Selwood would be on the field in 30 seconds

Since he's been captain Geelong are 2w 8l in finals, should be 1w 9l thanks to Isaac Smith missing a goal. His past two AA selections were also extremely dodgy, the AA threads went into meltdown both times his name was called out.

From memory he wasn't on Buddy as much as they gave him credit for stopping him, Scarlett didn't regularly played one out against Franklin and Geelong obviously had a very good team defence that our midfield and half backline couldn't get past for a while. Hudghton, Gibson and Lake (the joke was we were out to get all the Buddy stoppers) were better 1 on 1 against Franklin. I mean I won't deny that Taylor and Lonergan are/were a very good matchup against Roughead, but I wasn't worried about Franklin matchups.

Yeah I know but I'm just pointing out that when Buddy got hold of Geelong it'll be because Scarlett wasn't on him but when Geelong kept him quiet it'll be because Scarlett was.

Buddy averages a bit under 2.5 goals a game against Geelong. But during the Scarlett years he averages 3 goals a game.

I assume Scarlett was missing all those times Buddy kicked 4s and 5s.

It also says that Dal Santo had more AA's in 00-09 (2) than in the later team (1). Doesnt make any sense
