Round 2 is a great time to start a rolling AA team so why not, just for something to look at as the year progresses. We know how much selectors favour late season form.

I've tried picking a 22 with players that have played well in both games, or absolutely exceptional in one and above serviceable in the other.

FB: Gibson Adams May
HB: Johanissen Rance Laird
C: Hall S. Mitchell Parker
HF: Lynch (GC) Waite Gray
FF: Kennedy (WC) Franklin Zaharakis
R: Naitanui Dangerfield T. Mitchell
INT: Wells D.Martin Jenkins Treloar

It's obviously tough and hard, especially the ruck as there hasn't been two standout performances over two weeks yet

Changes after round 3

FB: Gibson Adams May
HB: Johanissen Talia Laird
C: Hall S. Mitchell Parker
HF: Lynch (GC) Waite Gray
FF: Kennedy Franklin Zaharakis
R: Goldstein Dangerfield T. Mitchell
INT: Ablett Naitanui Jack Martin Priddis

Changes after round 4

FB: Gibson Adams May
HB: Statton Talia Laird
C: Hall S. Mitchell Parker
HF: Lynch (GC) Waite Gray
FF: Kennedy Franklin Betts
R: Goldstein Dangerfield Ziebell
INT: Viney Naitanui Zaharakis Priddis

Rance no. The rest are pretty much spot on.

Will be interesting to see if hall, tom mitchell and may can keep themselves in contention, all had greta starts.
Not sure if nic nat should be there, had a very poor game on the weekend.

Not sure who to take out, but Jack Martin was good in Round 1 and great in Round 2

Probably D. Martin or Wells

Leads the comp in hitouts, I did say it was tough. Other option was Goldy or even Tippett/Mumford

Pointless this early.
Everybody is offended that a couple of players aren't in the above AA teams.
For instance, I don't know how Z. Merrett and Zaharakis wouldn't be in all teams.
Close thread ;)

NN smashed Martin R1, but Martin roughly broke even with Goldy on the weekend. As you said there is no real standout for the ruck spot yet and you could probably go any of 3 or 4 ways at the moment

Dangerfield was very meh against GWS, bench maybe but definitely not starting midfield.
Zaka in the pocket is dumb, midfield or bust.
Needs more Scully.
Gray was shit against Adelaide, plenty of touches mean nothing if more than half of them go to the opposition.

Rance was excellent in round 1, but shit house in round 2. That probably doesn't get him a gig yet. That being said, he will probably be in there at some point, expecting him to bounce back.

reckon Reg Grundy gets seriously underrated. Has had a very good last few years and could be a smokey for AA selection this year.

Needs a small forward. Not saying zakas out but he doesnt belong in a pocket.

Mitchell and Gibson could continue to dominate games, but won't get AA
The media will give their positions to flavour of the month teams/players, as has happened their whole careers
And 2 of those have been on the bench
Both Mitchell and Gibson were AA last year. Mitchell may have been on the bench twice, but regardless he is in the team.

Such an unsubstantiated whinge.
