Hi everyone i'm just a bit curious, what is the record for consecutive AA jumpers? Dean Cox could potentially make his fourth. Maybe this could be a record?

The one persons who AA tally i know is Mark Ricciutos who has 8 jumpers (2 as captain). Cox could half his tally this year.

Im not sure what the record is though

Edit: shit sorry, didnt see the 'Consecutive' part of the post

This year a lot of ruckman have done quite well and are all in contention for AA selection e.g Jolly, Simonds, Sandilands, Cox. That said if Cox doesn't get the starting spot the AA selection panel are blind.

Pavlich is also on track for his 4th consecutive so he's matching him

Some others i found are
Ricciutio did it 4 times in a row 02-05
Harvey 6 times in a row 94-99
Buckley 6 times in a row 96-01
Carey 4 times in a row 93-96

Went straight for the big name key defenders but pulled up short when i checked

Steven Sylvagni... 7 AA's but 4 in a row best
Paul Roos.... 8 AA's but 4 in a row best

Greg Williams was nowhere near the mark either.

Must be Robert Harvey and Nathan Buckley as others have said.

I think Bryce Gibbs will be pushing for AA selection if he can continue his form for the rest of the season.

I'm pretty sure the Stephen Milne incident will ensure Gibbs is kept off the short list for a 4 - 5 year spell.

I would have thought that the taggers spot would go to Ling.
Ling is going to miss a few more games I would think. Would like to see how Gibbs goes in this role for another month or so...few more stand out performances from Gibbs and people will start changing their tune.
