I stand by my previous post. Your outlook is everything that is wrong with the world. You are happy to be dictated to rather than have a government serve the people & do what will benefit us. That’s what voting for them is supposed to be for.
I’ll give you just a very simple example. I as well as everyone else has been hounded about renewables such as solar being a must. I have panels & a system installed that my wife & I paid for. When it was installed over 10 years ago we got around 35 cents per kWh for contributing power to the grid. We used to be in credit & seeing how the government’s of the world keep pushing solar, this should have continued. They push solar solar solar & then give you nothing for producing clean power. Because they all look after their wealthy mates in the energy sector.
Now the minimum government feed in tariff is less than 5 cents per kWh. Can you imagine paying 700% less for your power in 10 years? Because thanks to my state government minimum feed in tariff that is exactly what is happening to everyone who installed a solar system when the governments were pushing it. We put twice as much into the grid as a minimum every month but still owe the power company considerably. We get 4.9 cents per kWh & they charge another household 35 cents per kWh for the electricity we are producing on our roof. If you can’t see an example like this as corruption, then there is no hope for you. Look at life without left or right wing bias & simply ask yourself does your government have your best interests at heart or are they looking out for the wealthy? The answer is obvious if you look honestly. And it definitely isn’t just this current government. It’s been going on for for a long long time. Will people awaken or are we doomed? The latter is what is the unfortunate reality.

Stop trying to deflect. Each state government does determine the minimum feed in tariff. what I gave you was a factual example & you chose to ignore the question. Instead you tried unsuccessfully to belittle me.

I challenge you to find one that gives anything like a reasonable tariff. If the government say the minimum tariff is 4.9 cents per kWh, then it’s not difficult to know what they are all going to implement . As close to minimum as they can.

As a comeback leader, I can only assume he would be demoting her to some peripheral role in the cabinet - minister for women, northern Australia or homelessness are portfolios where she might be better concealed from public scrutiny and teeter on the edge of total exclusion. He is not fond of anything involving her and flower garlands, so it needs to be a department that does not require her to swan around our neighbouring northern islands, graciously bowing her head to collect the next necklace or headband of colourful petals.

Ok. So you produce electricity and sell it to an electricity onseller. A certain amount of the electrity is lost before it gets used at another house. How much? How much does it cost to build and maintain the electricity grid thus much is should the mark up be on the electricity you sell into the grid for this part of your electricity being sold to someone else? What other costs are there? Without knowing any of that, I've got no ****ing idea how much an appropriate mark up is.
