Thought this would be a fun watch over the next (hopefully) few years.

Let’s see how Scott Pendlebury goes chasing down some of the all time records.

I’ll endeavour to update weekly! (And make it look nice next time I’m near a computer)

You can add Highest Total Crowds

Currently 2nd
298,632 to 1st place
1st currently Dustin Fletcher

If he doesn’t miss any games he’ll probably break the record in Round 19 against Port or Round 20 against Carlton.

This is awesome.

I don’t want to jinx him, no buts..

I‘m just going to point out that the AFL Tables website which lists Pendles as being 900k behind Fletcher for crowds doesn’t include games from 2020 or 2021.

Pendles played in front of 614,313 people in those two seasons, so his total is actually 18,999,412 and he is only 298,632 behind.

Great thread!

Pedantic, but probably need an asterisk in the catch-up column for Oldest player / longest career given Shannon Huron is still playing and no chance of Pendles catching him until he retires.

Also, IIRC didn’t Pendles recently break some record for games played at the MCG?

Thanks Manic, I was going to get back to you about the discrepancy. I’ll update it to include the missing numbers

Pendles 143 losses
Kade Simpson 215 losses

Pendels would have to play for approx. 3 more years and loose every match to catch up.

Genuinely concerned he’ll earn this unwanted record if he continues playing for the next fifteen years (as he looks like he could)
