Am I the only one who thinks the Dogs will get flogged?

Must say I am staggered at how many people seem to think the Dogs can win it. As a neutral, I just cant see them getting close.

I can't see them kicking anywhere near enough goals with Stringer so badly out of form.

I cannot see them being able to hold Buddy and Tippett.

The Swans midfield runs far deeper than the Dogs too.

What am I missing?

The Bulldogs work at stoppages frustrates their opposition because it's hard to get your hands on them. They flick the ball around quicker than any other team.

Provided the occasion doesn't get to them then there's no reason they can't frustrate the Swans like they did GWS & the Hawks.

The Dogs have an incredible defence. Kennedy and Cameron were essentially non-factors against them, considering the form Tippett is in I'd be surprised if he had a big impact. I'd argue the Swans have better top end mids but the dogs run deeper, they're a team of Rovers.

I think you underestimate the intensity the dogs play at and how difficult it can be to score against them.
Sydney's midfield is staggeringly good and Boyd and Stringer????
If it is so good - why did GWS beat them by 5 goals ?

Look at the Swans side - Laidler at CHB - or a key defender - Tippet is hit and miss - has been all through his career - and when he has a dirty day - its an absolute shocker

The Dogs finals form looks great - the only small concern - last weeks game - was a very taxing game - hopefully theve still got a bit left in the tank

I think if it is one sided - i think the Swans will be on the nightmare side

Everyone is getting sucked in by that Geelong win .

Well it is 1v7, wouldn't be that big of a surprise. However the dogs haven't really been flogged this year, a lot of close losses etc. So I doubt they will lose the same way the Swans in 2014 did or how we did last year. I think Sydney will win relatively easily in the end, though.

Geelong flogged them by 57points in round 13, 100 - 47 at docklands...

They've only played each other twice in the last 2 years, both times at the SCG and the Dogs won both times.

So at the MCG I just can't see the Swans winning.

Everyone talks about the Swans midfield but the Dogs are #1 in contested possession and clearances, and bat a lot deeper.

Dogs by 26.

You are missing that the majority of media "experts" are predicting a Sydney win.

You also haven't acknowledged that only one team remains undefeated during this Finals Series...and it's not Sydney.

Would 1st vs 7th be the biggest gap between the two Grand Finalists ever?

Bulldogs did lose to Geelong by 57 points this year, and at Etihad too, but that's about it in terms of getting flogged.

I also think that Sydney have got so much to learn from heading into tomorrow, such as the 2014 GF + their last two slip ups against the Dogs.

Agreed, think the swans big bodies (especially midfielders) will be too much for the doggies, even more so if it's wet.

Sydney have been the best side all year, a few close losses have hidden this but they are the most complete in terms of experience, youth, depth and almost most importantly they will be ready to atone for 2014 straight out the gates tomorrow where I feel the dogs expectations are putting far too much pressure on the players, and may not have that extra drive when the game gets hot.

I also feel the dogs have been somewhat lucky to get to the GF, hawthorn were cooked and GWS last week showed all the signs of a young team that couldn't handle the heat (as of yet).

In saying all this I would love the dogs to get up but I think it would take some kind of miracle.
