I was keen to get your thoughts on whether these two players would be good additions to the team. Both are on the outer of there respective clubs and are both still relatively young. Buchannan is a small forward who can pinch hit in midfield and has good foot skills and Andrew Raines is a quick running half back who kicks long and is ok by foot and can run the lines.

Brad Fisher in a straight swap for Amon Buchanan.

Buchanan could be a handy depth player and pick up like Schneider with his disposal.

Fisher could be suited to playing at the smaller SCG.

Fisher's one grab marking plus his lack of pace and skill from long range and could be hidden closer to goal. Brad won't displace Fevola, Waite, O'hAilpin Kreuzer and Hampson from a spot inside 50.

I don't rate Raines.

Poor kick and injury prone.

Browne, Joseph, Armfield, Walker, Russell and Anderson will be better players than Raines next year.

Maybe even O'keeffe if he develops.

Tough decisions the No.1 priority

Many list management decisions are no brainers. Delisting Cleve Hughes or Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls, for instance, should not exercise Hardwick's mind too much.

Pass on Hughes too if they delist him.

Pass on both. The only decent recycled player could be Matt McGuire if he stays fit and there will be a Few teams after his services if he becomes available i would think.

Add Brian Lake to that list to but it is highly unlikely the Dogs will let him go.

Raines and Buchanan dont interest me much and it is a bit of Mehhhh feeling when their names are mentioned.

Neither interest me a great deal, Buchanan may be able to add something though, proved a handy player at the Swans. Raines on the other hand is a total spud, don't know how anyone would even consider him TBH. Horrible disposal, deplorable decision making, injury prone and can't get a game at the hapless Tigers. Wouldn't swap a 5 year old sandwich for him.

Andrew Raines is a quick running half back who kicks long and is ok by foot and can run the lines.

Requires more explanation.
Define o.k.

His disposal is shyte of the highest order.....even by Richmond standards, and for a bloke who finds the footy as much as he does that is a real problem.

Pass on Raines.

Amon........meh........not what we need.

Got any tall leading forwards that can take a contested mark? Or a full back........of the "Lake" variety?
