Do you have any proof of any kind of association of him with such beliefs, beyond him being Muslim? There is significant diversity within religious belief - if he is one of those people that clings on to the archaic, intolerant aspects, then he should be pulled up on it.

He is not a senior figure at such an organisation though. They are not analogous, and you know this.
