Looks like Destiny crossed with a crippled Borderlands.

Still happy to give it a go at this stage however expectations are significantly lower than what they were when it was first announced.

I'm wary. The gameplay shown doesn't look particularly engaging in anyway.

A lot of what was shown beforehand looked like bullshots and I don't expect the game to look that good, even on pc.

I find the negative vibe around this interesting. I think it looks quite promising. Imagine a Destiny done right? I love Bioware and am keen to follow this one right through to launch.

I’m not sure if some NDA period has passed or something but in the last 24 hours a whole heap of videos have dropped on YouTube. Some gameplay footage and heaps of places talking about their hands on experience. Interestingly they’ve been mostly positive considering the recent pessimism.

A few people I know of and follow have said recently that it’s actually coming along quite nicely and has massively improved since they last played it 12 months ago after the game got a new direction.

Demo progress carries over to next week and there's a bonus you get in the full game if you play the demo this weekend, think it's a decal.

You are at lvl 10 in the Ranger but get to choose one of the other three javelins to try at some point in the demo.

Theres also changes to weapon drops, difficulty, the economy etc in the demo to give a better look at the game. These things will be changed back for the full game.

Yeah works a treat and multi-platform access via Origin I think.

It will get sorted out eventually and everyone will calm down again but it’s not a good start especially when EA already have so much bad will against them to begin with.

If you can look past the issues with the demo so far for me it’s been a lot of fun when in the game.

The battles have been decent, the loot, weapons and customisation is really good.

Flying and movement takes some getting used to and I haven’t fully got it down yet, I’m a lot more comfortable in very open areas with a lot of room to move.

Biggest thing is going to be content. If there’s plenty to do and it’s not all completely the same I can see this being good, if not most will move on within a month.
