I think it's fair enough she speaks. If she's moved in her life and it's brought up again I would assume it is distressing (because of her kids).

I don't really like all of this being played out in the public. People should just get on with their lives (and therapy if it benefits them).

Footnote - fair to say she was one of the hottest WAGs of that 90s team.

Poor Kelli, you have my heart felt sympathies. You are the real victim in this. How about you take a bit of time to think about how your selfishness have caused this situation. He did no wrong in this affair.

Carey's current missus gave a fairly good interview today which should hopefully be the last word on the subject.
I thought she came across very level headed and well spoken. Nice contrast to Kelli, who either sounded, or was made to sound like a vengeful harpy.

Personally, hell no. I started supporting North as a kid because of Wayne Carey (thanks for saving me for a lifetime of sad as an intended Bulldogs supporter) and my parents did a good job sheltering me from the shady aspects of his personality before the Stevens scandal hit. Once it all happened, and his life went further downhill in the following years, I was able to maintain a level of separation in my head between Carey the man and Carey the footballer.
Having said that, Carey's the only public figure I can really do that with. I abhor domestic violence and mistreatment of women and there are several celebrities whose work I won't touch with a ten-foot pole thanks to their personal lives (Chris Brown, Woody Allen, Sean Penn come on down!). I think it's because I hero worshipped him from the ages of 6-14 and it's hard to shake despite what I now know.

Seriously, this club is playing a Prelim Final next Saturday. This shit should stay in the history lesson where it belongs. Wayne, Stevo and all true Roos have to get on board this week. The next history lesson might unfold at Domain Stadium in 7 days time.
