When I first started getting into music in the late 70's, it was the female fronted bands (Blondie, Siouxsie & the Banshees & Heart) and the female solo artist (Kate Bush, Nina Hagen & Lena Lovich) that first interested me. Since then, I've always preferred the female voice.

That's what Windows Media Player tells me they are.

I actually lumped them in with the other two out of convenience, though it is confusing that We Are the Fallen, which is essentially Evanescence with a different lead singer, is generally in the Metal section of music stores, while Evanescence is in alternative.
